Great For All Levels And Ages
My kids love this thing! I'm basically a frisbee (flying disc, whatever) collector. Well, I have maybe 3 or 4 of my own with varying weights. I grew up playing frisbee (again, flying disc) my whole life on the beach as a kid. I want my kids to gain a few important skills in their lives (how to ride a bike, how to swim, how to skate/skateboard, and definitely how to throw a 'flying disc'). These rings are the perfect weight and size to get really young kids (my daughter is 5 and digs this and is learning well) up and going and my son (9 years old) is a pro at frisbee because he was 'trained' on this. I love to throw it as well. We have the bigger disc, which will sail above and beyond everything else in the world, and this one gives you a bit more control for shorter (but still very, very long) distances. The weight is very balanced, the product is extremely solid. I would imagine that a lot of throws into the street would shorten the life (as the outside of the disc is rubber), so heed that. When it's veering one way or the other, there is even a reminder written on the top of the disc which way to bend it to get it on track better (which works really well). A few words of caution. This thing, when landing on a roof, will stay for a VERY long time. Nothing much will bring it down (wind, rain, etc.) because it is very flat and weighted. I've lost 2 of them (the bigger ones) this way. Also, if you play in water (like the beach), it will sink indefinitely. Then you can say goodbye. Whether it's for a novice or experienced thrower, this disc is better (to me) than throwing a 175g disc or many others. I highly recommend this!!

Easy and fun
I got this for my grandson, who is 3 and wouldn't be able to make a regular Frisbee work. Heck, there are adults that still can't do it either. But this heavy rubber ring is easy for anybody. Since it is a bit heavier than a Frisbee it cuts through the air effortlessly. The weight, and it being more aerodynamic, make this a better flier. Since we have deemed this an outdoor toy only, that didn't stop my grandson from having his fun. He would put it on his arm and get it to roll around it like a hula hoop. The 10" model was the right choice. It will be easier for him and 10" doesn't mean it has limitations, it's plenty good for adults too. I can see that when the lad gets better with practice, I'll need to keep a ladder handy to retrieve it off the garage roof.

Great Cosplay Accessory
I actually bought this and used paint to make a chakram. (You know, the flying disc thingy that Xena Warrior Princess uses.) My sister wanted to be Xena for ComicCon and I didn't want to settle with a cardboard one, and a wooden one wouldn't be allowed in. So I looked online and found these to use instead. Not only did it look great, but it still flew too. My sister enjoys throwing it around a little too much, but that's okay because it won't hurt if she actually hits someone. Yes, probably a weird review, but it really goes to show that if you have the imagination, pretty much anything is possible. A tip if you're looking to make one, use a black primer base coat then paint it one color solid and finally use painters tape to add the second color and outline with black. I used fabric paint because it's more flexible than other paints and it has held up pretty well. For Xenites, there are green gems painted on but they're hard to see. Yep, I think this is by far the weirdest review I've written, but I think kids would enjoy getting to decorate something flying through the air. I could see someone doing flames. Enjoy!

Even my 3 year old can throw it far!
Awesome product, I prefer the colors other than greenish/yellow. Reason - The green blends in to the grass and trees making it harder to find. The product flies so well. I was surprised how stable and far they fly. Even my 3 (almost 4) year old can throw these frisbees far. He doesn't throw it like a normal person, and he's not always the most accurate, but he has a blast and can get some major distance. The downside to these: They get stuck in trees all the time. Like every day I'm fetching them from trees. It's understandable why... kids + circle with hole + tree = Stuck. Normal frisbees are solid so they don't hook themselves onto trees like these do. Despite that I wont switch back.

You only get one.
I love Aerobies and have since childhood. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it wasn't clear if this came with 1 or 3. I got mine in today and it was only 1 and I wasn't able to pick which color. I'm happy with this one but would have been upset with the yellow one. Overall a great throwing disc. Endless fun!!

This works much better than traditional frisbees fora few reasons
Starting to play frisbee with me 3 year old. This works much better than traditional frisbees fora few reasons. First is that it is light and soft. Which is nice when it hits my boy in the face or legs as he's trying to catch it. It's easier to catch as well. He just sticks his arm up in the air like he's trying to be a stake to a horseshoe. Even though it is lightweight and great for little kids, this thing still flies for forever. I haven't tested it it for distance against my other traditional frisbees but I feel confident that I can throw it at least as far as any of my others.

Fly baby fly!
When I received the disc I thought WOW, this is really cool. I tried it in the back yard and it "flew" great - smooth, etc. What I didn't count on was that my puppy/dog (50 lb. 8 month old) would destroy it within 10 minutes. Obviously, it doesn't fly right now. Shame on me - it was a bit pricey for a toy for my dog that was destroyed in 10 minutes. If you don't plan to let your dog use it - it works nicely!

So much fun and great for all ages
I've had quite a few of these over the years and purchased this one for a gift for my 7 year old nephew. My favorite thing about these aerobies is they really can be played with by all age groups. They don't hurt if they bonk a little kid and they are easy to catch but also adults can launch them super long distances and land some impressive catches by diving for them. Super fun--highly recommend as a game for big family events!!!

This frisbee is awesome. Had the last one for about 8 years but eventually fell apart from the sun. I.e. Sun fatigue made the internal plastic brittle, I didn't hesitate to buy another; the kids love it. It flies straight and true and for miles. Very forgiving for beginners as well. We also bought the bigger version that if you have the space and the wind in the right direction will fly for miles. Fabulous fun both this standard size version and it's bigger brother!
