I love these pots. I have been slowly transitioning some of my thirstier plants to lechuza so that I don’t have to worry about watering them every week. I am going to be gone on a 2 week vacation soon and I’m going to have a peace of mind that my plants are ok and won’t dry out. They work very well for aroids.

Perfect size planter for the office, desk, window sill. About the size of a coffee mug. No potting soil required, just shake the soil of your plant & use the provided lechuza gravel mix. Has a wick in the bottom of the planter, which is different from the larger Lechuza planters. I now have a full collection of these planters in 7 different sizes & styles. Tip: water thoroughly when you first plant, then wait for it to to dry out completely before watering again. Gravel can get moldy. Be sure to read the watering instructions (provided on the packaging) For all of these self watering planters, I would recommend plants that like water. Cactus, succulents, etc are easy to over water b/c of the wick system in the smaller Lechuza planters

My tradescantia nanouk is thriving in the planter. The soil that comes with the planter really works. I love the modern look of the planter

I threw away the soil that came with the pot and replaced it with small bark suitable for my Pink Profusion Oncidium orchid. Last count the orchid has five new growths in less than two months!

Sono una grande appassionata di piante e questo vaso Lechuza è stata un’ottima scoperta. È compatto, elegante e rifinito con grande cura. Il bianco lucido si adatta facilmente a qualsiasi ambiente e valorizza anche le piante più piccole. Il sistema di autoirrigazione è davvero pratico: aiuta a gestire meglio l’acqua e rende la manutenzione molto più semplice. Inoltre il vaso è completo di tutto il necessario per iniziare subito a utilizzarlo. Materiali di ottima qualità, design moderno e funzionalità eccellente. Come sempre Lechuza non delude.
