It's a miracle...
Okay, so this miracle does not occur overnight, but within the week it's amazing! I finally found something that wasn't a prescription that actually works! This is the 2 oz size which is a good trial size. If it works skip this and go to the 8 oz size. I just finished that and just ordered the 32 oz size. Huge price drop with each larger size. High quality ointment that does what it is suppose to do! Here's why I'm using this sulfur ointment: Permethrin is a pesticide that is successful because it is a synthetic nerve toxin. Approximately 30% of the patients experience negative effects for the next 3 months following treatment. This is the conclusion from years of studies on the patient complaints from scabies treatment with permethrin. I decided I can't risk that high probability with being sick for 3 months. Therefore I'm trying the alternative path first. I had that awful rash typical of a scabies outbreak. Once I started the treatment with the products I mention below, I went from that to going down to bumps and small red openings in the skin which I think the mites we're opening up. Now I don't see the latter anymore either, but I can't let my guard down. I am constantly treating me with something. The one thing that keeps me going is I know that some of those bumps have clumps of mites and eggs on it which you can actually feel with your finger. I continue to use this ointment and don't know where I would be without it. Now I've learned that it's a good idea to first put it on the areas where nothing is so that if the mites and eggs hit, they are met with the sulfur ointment first. Just put a little on those area as you aren't really treating the skin. After that's done, I go and treat the active areas. The hardest thing is to treat any skin that is touching other skin. You' know what I mean if it applies to you. Just make sure those areas are as dry as possible before you put the ointment on. Also don't make the mistake of putting on too much ointment. It's best to put it on just enough that it will be absorbed within an hour or less. It absorbs well when you do it right and then I can give in between treatments especially if something is of concern, like a newly emerged active area that is also too active. The ointment does not stain normal clothing. If you got dry cleaning or delicate clothing on, you'll have to test it yourself or change your clothes. It is from a compounding pharmacy and the quality shows with consistency throughout. It's a little thinner than Vaseline petroleum jelly, but once you start moving it around and your body's heat starts to warm it, it gets more like a lotion consistency. Do not try to add lotion to it, you are diluting the 10% sulfur and that's the scabicide part. Actually, once it gets this thin, it's harder to get it on top of the areas you know the scabies have dug into. You'll see what I mean if you get the product. Warm it up in your hands if you need coverage immediately. This is the best way I have figured out so far on how to start getting ahead of scabies: Head: I use Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo, Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Original Formula, 16 Fl. Oz , on my scalp and work it out to the ends of my hair because these stupid things hang on to hair like nobody's business. This shampoo has coal tar in it which kills parasites, including scabies. I can't believe how no one really talks about this, but its true. There are smaller sizes and there is an extra strength, too. After getting lots of suds on my scalp and hair, I will apply the shampoo gingerly to my eyebrows and a little bit my eyelashes. Leave the shampoo on your hair a little bit longer, but rinse it off your face soon after application. Do not apply to skin (search for coal tar side effects on your favorite search engine). Body (Part 1): I use Oleavine, Oleavine Antifungal Soap with Tea Tree and Neem for Body, 12 oz , over the rest of my body. I step away from the shower to get lots of soap suds to stay on my body. I leave the suds on me for as long as possible. Body (Part 2): After I dry off really well, I use this sulfur ointment on the trunk of my body making sure I'm covering just the areas that are unaffected first as to not spread scabies. Then I treat the affected areas. If you have it on your hands, legs, or wherever else, repeat the same thing. I also did that all around my scalp line and on my eyebrows. The cool thing about this ointment is that I can take a Q-tip when they were in my ear, put a tiny bit of the ointment on it, and dabbed it on the ear. Do not put it in your ear canal! You could end up with hearing loss in that ear. When i did that treatment wow, did it kill of those mites! So you can do spot treatments in between your regular treatments. I have one final overall recommendation that is vital to keeping the scabies from spreading, vital to healing infections, and vital to handling those insane itches: 1) keep a bottle of 100% tea tree oil with you at all times. It is not recommended to be used at this strength and I only use it for a spot treatment. This should be diluted even for spot treatments especially for people with sensitive skin. If you don't know how to dilute it, you can search for the instructions on how to dilute it. What you do is when you have an itch to scratch, take the diluted tea tree oil put it on your finger tip (this practice keeps the scabies off my hands and wrists) or on a cotton ball, then put it on the itchy area, get it covered well, and then you can scratch the itch. Once you scratch it, repeat until relief is achieved or in severe cases, when you should just give it a rest. What you've essentially done (for the former) is eliminate the mite and what you find over time is that these itches happen less frequently and start to peter off. I recommend coconut oil as a carrier oil to dilute the tea tree oil in. It has antimicrobial properties so it won't contribute to an infection. Aloe Vera gel is another good idea as something that the tea tree oil can be diluted into as it may bring healing, cooling relief at the same time. I hope you will all get rid of these parasites soon. Taking the alternative route is hard work and I hope you return to health soon.

Definitely can see a difference!
I bought this because I somehow got scabies in April, and then had horrible reactions to permethrin. Two months later, I was still dealing with the after-effects of scabies and permethrin (I was given 6 doses of permethrin, so my skin was a complete mess.), and trying to figure out what I could use for relief that wouldn't break the bank (after two topical steroid prescriptions that were $89 a piece), and also might help some of the horrible scarring on my chest. I found this and decided to give it a whirl. I'm on day 5 of using this and can definitely see a difference! Slowly but surely, my chest is starting to clear up some. It does have a scent to it that's not overly pleasant --- which I don't really notice right off the bat, but after awhile of having it on, I can smell it. It does have an odd texture - and the first time I used it,it didn't really apply well and rub in. So I put it on and then used a very light coat of jergens ultra healing lotion with it. That helped the texture immensely! (I also tried mixing it with coconut oil but I felt like mixed with the coconut oil it was too greasy feeling for my liking.) But the bottom line is, I can tell a difference in my skin clearing up with it. I apply it at night and keep it on overnight and have used it intermittently during the day. I will continue to do so and see if it continues to get better. This was worth the money I spent - especially considering all the money I spent at the dermatologist trying to figure out what would help my skin get better!

I went all "trial and error" and used this and 2 other methods.
Try to keep this as short as possible but it's mainly in hopes to help others through this very disturbing issue of scabies. I had no idea what this was all about, had no health insurance, so went strictly off my symptoms to narrow it down to this. It is the nastiest mite you can encounter and I literally almost gave up. I would tell you..be patient if you go this route and I do know that the mites are finally GONE! What I did worked but it took almost 2 months of trial and error. First, I followed a youtube that said to try raw coconut oil and tea tree oil mixed..it was a really cool young woman who had it and look for her youtube..it's great..fun to listen to also..she is straight up about it. I did this for about 3 weeks because I ordered on e-bay, some Permethrin and it was coming from India so was not going to get here quickly. The things we do when you don't have insurance to cover doctor's and meds. So with the above method, I used a good cup of coconut oil, a good 3 to 4 tablespoons of the smelly tea tree oil, and I even got some Neem Oil (don't think that did much but who knows) and mixed a good 2 tablespoons of that in after week 2 of just using tea tree oil and coconut oil. Though this stuff seemed to help, it never completely resolved the attacks by these crazy mites. I would go 1 or 2 days with nothing after 2 weeks, then late at night, I'd be itching in a new spot like crazy and trying not to scratch it but instead slathering up with the stuff and also using the over the counter itch/bite medicines too in between. Be careful using that stuff because it can really numb areas. Most mornings I would cover my entire body with the stuff after my shower. I would do the same at night. I was not always washing bedding but I read that if you dried stuff, it can kill them off after a half hour or more in the dryer..washer does nothing to kill the mites. So I would use specific blankets to sleep on at night and throw everything into the dryer the next morning and then vacuum my entire area/room/bathroom..then empty the cordless portable vacuum I have..worked so much easier then my big vacuum. Same with clothing..I bagged clothes and tied them off but kept them in a separate area of my laundry room and would do laundry more frequently then my usual 1 load a week. So episodes or attacks were still happening but not every day or twice a day like when I didn't have the coconut mix..it was helping at least. About 18 days into all this, I finally get the Permethrin and I got this stuff on completely over my entire body..well exactly as instructions said..and boom..I did not have any other attacks by the scabie monsters for like 3 days straight! I thought, OMG I should have used this right away!! Feeling pretty good about the progress, I stopped the coconut/tea tree mix and then of course on the 4th day of no issues..I get this itching and I'm like "NOOOOO" and sure enough I get these huge welts and bite trails along my waist..unbelievable!! They were not gone!! So I read the Permethrin and it says, you should only have to treat with this stuff once..but you can use it again. So I completely used up what was left and considered ordering more! But I used up the Permethrin and found this Scabisil on Amazon with quicker shipping I figured..so I ordered this stuff next..why not right? So I go back to the coconut oil/tea tree oil mixing a whole new batch and now we are at like week 5 or 6..the oil mix is still helping to keep things at bay but I'm also noticing the bites are less and less and then one day about week 7, no bites all day long. No bites day 2. Then this Scabisil comes in along with some of the sulfer soap I ordered too. I start using both the soap and the stinky cream..lol. I stopped using the coconut oil mix, then day 3..no bites..day 4 no bites..and ever since..no bites!! I kept using the Scabisil and the 1 bar of soap until it was gone. I kept my coconut oil/tea tree oil on hand but did not use it anymore. To this day..everything is finally DONE and GONE!! So my advice..and this went WAY longer then I thought..lol. I think the Permethrin probably did the trick but as they say..it may take a few weeks for all mites and their eggs to finally die off..that's why I got more bites after using it. But I will also say..the coconut oil/tea tree oil was initially doing something to affect these nasty mites..but I don't think it kills them off completely. And as far as this Scabisil..I don't know if it did anything or maybe it at least contributed to helping finish off these nasty mites..who knows. I will close with this. Try all of the above but at least get the Permethrin if you can..one or even 2 of them. But my method of trial and error did finally work..if I had to treat myself again, I would start with Permithrin and if it did not work, I'd do the oil mix and order the Scabisil cream and soap too. One or maybe all 3 of these methods finally worked but make sure you are doing your best to wash/dry clothes and bedding..especially dryer for half hour minimum..every day with blankets. and everyday vacuuming then cleaning out your vac. (cordless vacs work great for me) Other thing to mention, these are supposedly really tiny so I never once saw anything on me or my bedding, so just clean as best you can. It has been a nightmare dealing with these little monsters but I can say now I have been bite free for over a month now!! Best to everyone else in getting rid of these!!!

I have terrible rosacia and everyone thinks I’m always blushing. I also have chronic acne that seems to never go away even though I’m 24. However, after only a few days with this product , my face feels fantastic ! Acne slowly going away, redness is going away much faster than expected and in general my face feels smooth rather than bumpy because it gets rid of blackheads as well! The bottle doesn’t sound like it’s much but you only need very little for the face. For my problems I think this bottle will be lastingly me a good 3 months

Finding oneself dealing with a rash that multiple 'physicians' could not accurately diagnose and having to research on my own to try and figure out what the cause of the irritation along with utilizing remedies that could actually work, one of the products incorporated was Scabisil. It was a darn sight better than the pharmaceutical product that one 'professional' prescribed, which was not healing and contained toxic components as well as one I have an allergy to. The Scabisil helped to dry out the irritation and greatly curtail its propagation. Along with other products learned about has brought about success in finally getting the condition under control.
