Love this little book of prayers for baby! It is the perfect size for little hands. The prayers all rhyme and are very cute. They address all the things little ones are sure to notice in their lives like smiles, the sky, playmates, etc. Perfect gift for a baptism or new baby. Highly recommend!

This is such a great book for bringing up a child of Christ. I love that this has so many different simple prayers of thanks for so many things. They really apply to children...like thank you for my bed and thank you for my toys and family, the grass, the sun, fingers and toes, laughter and sharing, forgiveness and food, for rain and rest, smiles and happy faces, etc. Every page has a rhyming prayer and picture, that is kid-friendly to understand. It really helps me (as a parent) teach my kids about appreciating the small stuff and recognizing that we are very blessed in so many ways. It also makes naptime and bedtime easier and doesn't take as long as some of the kids' books/stories. Prayer is important and effective and often times, it's all we can do when we feel helpless. Learning to read and figuring #'s are great, but this book really helps get my kids in the habit of praise and prayer no matter how big or small. And that is what's important to me...and will REALLY help them. Such a great tool and is healing for all ages. I highly recommend for anyone of any age. Would always be an ideal baby shower gift too.

This little book is precious! I purchased this for a baby's Baptisim. The small size of the book is perfect for baby's and toddlers little hands. One reader said they couldn't tell the size on-line, but the size is stated in the description of the book. (It is 4.5" x 6") I love the artwork that goes with each little prayer. The prayers cover a multitude of subjects and they all rhyme, which toddlers will love. The author is very well known and has over 200 books to her credit. This book is top quality and printed on nice crisp paper. The binding is sewn rather than glued which means it will last a lot longer and won't fall apart. I love the padded cover and the page for an inscription from the giver. This is the perfect gift for a newborn or a birthday gift. We have a ten-week-old nephew and I wanted to get him a little book of prayers for babies since he didn't have anything like that. My sister said this type of book would be perfect and I decided to send this one to them since it had good reviews and was reasonably priced. This book is really cute and perfect for a baby's first book of prayers! The first thing you will want to know about it is that it's smaller than expected but has a lot of beautiful prayers. There were no measurements provided on the product page but it measures about six inches tall. It has a puffy front cover, hardcover back and smooth, thick pages. The pages aren't a hardcover feeling though. It has a page for you to write who it's to, from and the date given if you want. The book has 41 total prayers that are short, sweet and take about ten seconds to read so you can read more than one! The prayers start in the morning, go throughout the day, and finish at bedtime. On the left side of the page is a picture that goes along with the prayer and on the right side is the prayer. There are 93 pages total in this book and it's printed in China. Overall, I'm happy with this book since it's just what I hoped even though it's smaller than expected. It's still cute and reasonably priced so you can get another gift too if you want for a baptism or just a new baby gift. I read several of these prayers to my nephew and my sister has it on her bedside table to read at night. If you are looking for a cute prayer book for a baby, this is a good option! Just know it's smaller than expected but still worth the cost!

This baby prayer book is good quality and cute. The cover is strong and the pages are crisp. The book is great for my new baby Godson who got baptized the other day. This will sit on his little kiddie bookshelf for years, and I hope that when he is older I can read it with him and pray with him! However, the book is MUCH tinier than I anticipated. I would say the book is only about 6 or 7 inches tall and only 3 or 4 inches wide. The font size and layout would be more appropriate for an older child (5 or so) and is not at all usable or I would guess immediately enjoyable for an infant or younger toddler. The quality of the prayers are better than the more infantile style of these books, though. So it's a tradeoff between having better prayers but in a book that is better adapted for a slightly older young child. The seller should add a picture showing the relative size of the book (or put the size in the description) and a picture of the inside to demonstrate text size.

I purchased this book "Baby's First Book of Prayers" from Amazon to give to my daughter-in-law at her baby shower yesterday. This book is wonderful. It is a hardback book, it's super cute, and it has a place for you to put the "to, from, and date" inside the book. There are about 80 pages of prayers in this book to include 41 prayers. I have included a picture of the contents for you. I am extreme happy to have found this book, and I can't wait to hear her reading these prayers (as well as read them myself) to my sweet granddaughter in a couple of months. It's small size will also be perfect as she grows into a young girl who can read the book herself as she will be able to hold onto it easily. It also has beautiful bright illustrations sure to capture the heart and mind of your little one. I really can't recommend this book highly enough to you. It was a great find for sure!

This is a cute baby book to give as a gift, especially for a baptism. The prayers are really simple and easy. The book is also filled with colorful pictures.

Superb, such a simple book and very thoughtful prayers .. best to inculcate gratitude among kids from a young age. Book is handy and can be carried along too. Hard cover and very colorful inside.

Fantastic book for kids prayers

My baby loved listening to us read this book of prayers. It’s been a blessing to introduce our baby to praying to the Lord and to practice gratitude by reading this book. Love the unique drawings on each page and the cute rhyme that is added to each prayer.
