These work great for connecting telephone wires over network cabling in your house. It simply allows an adaptation of the connector on the phone and on the phone wall socket to be connected together over an RJ45 (structured network cable) socket to socket. This does not work over a network switch or other network device it simply does point to point wiring. Best used as a pair as the wiring can be different between these adaptors from different manufacturers, sold as a pair so ideal!

One thing that I dislike about this product is how they try to sell two adapters to you instead of one. Due to this product being very niche and serving a specific purpose. They charge you £5.89 for the pack here in the UK which is inconvenient when you are on a budget! The build quality is good enough for the job but if you were to step on it by accident or tug it out in the wrong way, it would be surprising if it still was intact. The flimsy plastic shell at the end of the connector easily snaps and the rubber coating on the cable is cheap and substandard. There really isn't that many different options for an adaptor like this and you'd probably have to make do by still buying this to solve your situation but I hope my review gives you the right expectations for it.

Does not work with modems. Looks like wrong strands on there connector

Seemed well made and delivered promptly, Unfortunately these did not meet my requirements, they did not work with my bt line, which has been wired differently to most. I visited another online site looking for what I origanily had. But have encountered problems finding now, fortunately, I now have found a six way straight through plug in rj11 to rj45 which has reestablished my upstairs line.

BT connections not used in Ireland, therefore these particular products were of no use to me.

Didn't work for my situation but they are exactly what I ordered

Purchase these adapters to fix issues with my cordless phone placement in the house. I used the RJ45 (Network CAT5e) with couplers and these adapters to reposition my phone base station in the kitchen were I had no RJ11 jack. Works very well, no static or connection issues, saved me from phishing a wire in the wall over two storeys.
