This is a well made figurine toy. It does resemble a lion, albeit not as finely detailed as some other pieces by Schleigh. The size is small but the quality is very good.

Schleich make great animals - they're sturdy, detailed, and attractive. I have bought quite a few now for my toddler (well - at least in theory; I'm enjoying playing with them a bit myself, I confess). I'm hoping he'll get many years of play out of them!

These animals are amazing. I bought them thirty years ago for my kids, used them for 20 years in my classroom a d now my great nephews still use them. They are indestructible, and very realistic. Great for imaginative play for kids from age 3 on up.

worth the extra $
The quality of Schleich figurines is impressive. My toddler loves these because they look like the real thing. I like them too because I know that they are made to comply with American health and safety standards. Totally worth the extra money in my opinion.
