I can't speak to the updated part number. All I know is I replaced my old TPS in 2012 and It is still working today, 12 years later.

Now' look at this part from the picture position it dose look ROUND, but the plug that goes inside that round looking end it have a 3/16 cut-away flat surface on the end of the MALE plug.
