Tried and True
We have used Jobe products for a number of years and have always found them to be helpful in maintaining the health of our plants. This product is for trees and large shrubbery. We have seven younger trees in the yard of our new home. They were planted during the build process ands have been in for about a year or so. We were looking for a product to provide slow fertilization without the need for us to periodically feed. We had waited a year to give be trees time to establish a good tap root. These spikes are easy to use and go in the outer drip line of the trees. Where the water drips of f the outmost leaves. They are easy to install and the included installation cap gives you something to pound on when placing them in the ground. They have only been in for a couple of weeks, and with some rain we have had we have noticed that the trees look more green and have new growth. Great product!

Plants and Chemistry
I am all about the all natural as the default in not understanding how everything works by default. After reading about hydroponics I realized that plants are amazing biological machines that use the chemistry table as chemist to provide all we require thus if you want your plant to grow and produce for you, they will require chemistry. At least this is the upside blessing of chemistry departments running rampant in the captialism pursuit in dependence into crysis. Hydroponics and chemistry for the plants are a huge win aside from all the fallen plants along the way as there is acid in the mixes and things we must be careful with as those science classes leading up to chemistry uphold the lessons of holes in counters as the blessing, thus why I wanted to go back to school in hopes of creating a domestic system so we can have our victory gardens inside as our plants are better than storing our food, as best on the vine for prolonged longevity in the war of the salads on the pallets of many of us, to which we require some major assistance. I wanted us to create a standard size of basin with easy premeasured tablets to mix in without the require for college chemistry so we can stop wasting our money on iceberg lettuce which is the shame of us all as they had lost their nutrition in order to keep and our tomatoes are plucked as children then provided hormones to ripen them, kinda like humans with growth hormones but opposites as we do not pluck our children to be eaten yet it is what they drink along with puss as the cows are at war with bacteria due to the poop all over them in their cages that are not big enough for them... Well, I purchased this brand for my trees with amazing results after finally gaining the knowledge that our plants need the leaves that were supposed to be on the ground for they have their own recycling program just like the water cycle, or the molten rock cycle, the plants are best with chemistry from themselves not from animal although animal will fertilize in feces and assist with spreading their seeds.

WOW! What an AMAZING DIFFERENCE = WORKS!!
After YEARS!, I mean YEARS of what I learned last year was โScaleโ growing on my mumโs Japanese Magnolia Trees (2) (see the pic = YUCK!) I did some research, and learned about this product. Initially, I tried to treat the plant using just diluted Neem Oil spray. Unfortunately, the treatment did more damage than good (when treating w/Neem oil it really has to be diluted or it will burn the plantโs leaves, etc..).. Apparently, all I needed to do was get this stuff, Shake out a bit and scatter it around the base of the trees. The way this product works, is that the product sits at the base of the plant, and when watered, the product then soaks into the ground and the plant then uptakes the product into its system, and when the pests (scale, gnats, aphids, etc..), attack the plant, they basically get a mouth full of YUCK!๐คฎ and either die or go away. DO NOT USE WHEN RAINING! as the product will not soak into the ground and treat that specific plant, but instead, it will go where ever the water goes and potentially contaminate your garden and any edible plants growing nearby, and you DO NOT want to EAT anything treated by this product! I figured โMeh, Why Not?!โ Iโll give it a try at least, at approx. $23USD, it was well worth it to try. Around February, I had my mum (82yo) treat the trees, which consisted of just shaking out the designated amount of product and tossing It around underneath both trees. I stated her age to emphasize that anyone can use this product, itโs that easy to use. By March, both of her Japanese Magnolia trees put out blooms like they had not in YEARS! I mean they were GORGEOUS! We had neighbors comment on how beautiful the trees were. All that, compared to previous years, where both trees were sickly, covered in leaves, but few if any blooms, and almost every joint in the trees had these yellow black โlumpsโ. I now know the โlumpsโ were โscaleโ, and the black stuff was likely black soot/fungus. We live with some tall trees behind us/on our east side and the trees although located further out in the yard, probably both were infected by the black soot being in the air/drifting on the wind and landing on the trees. But, after this treatment, all GONE! *smiles*๐๐๐ผ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND You try this product on ANY โNON-Edibleโ plant. Do NOT use on ANYTHING You plan to EAT! Because, this product works by your plant up-taking it into the plant itself and distributing it throughout the plantโs roots, stems, leaves, blooms/fruit, etc... Also, You only need to make sure to use this product far enough in advance of Spring/Summer that the plant has time enough to up-take it and distribute it internally. BEST OF ALL, You only need to use this product ONCE every YEAR!! (12mths!) โขโขโขโข> PROโs: โขโขโขโขโขโข โข EASY USE - Just Shake it out and distribute it under the plant at the base. โข PESTS / Lots! = This product treats a WIDE VARIETY of plant pests and disease(s). โข QUANTITY / Lasts! = Depending upon the area/plants you wish to treat, it really only takes a little bit of product. Plus, as You only need to apply the product ONCE YEARLY, a little bit goes a long way, and the container size should last you a long time. โข ANNUALLY = You only need to apply this product ONCE YEARLY! โข COST = The approx $23 cost is minimal when you consider the quantity you get, along with the amount of product needed to treat a plant, considering all of that, the price is cheap! โขโขโขโข> CONโs: โขโขโขโขโข โข TOXIC = This product is toxic enough that it should NOT be used on ANY plant that produces Edible Produce/Fruit. Because the plant up-takes the product into ALL parts of the plant, the stem, leaves, blooms/fruit, so that anything edible will be full of this toxic product, not edible and toxic if eaten. โข CONTAMINATION = MUST be applied to plant at base on a dry day, because otherwise, the product will spread to where ever the water it sits in travels and can potentially contaminate other plants that produce edible fruit/produce, making it in edible or if eaten, potentially poison whomever eats it. โข TIMING = Must be applied early enough before Spring/Summer that the plant has time to up-take the product into itself internally and distribute it through out itself. โขโขโขโข> OVERALL OPINION: โขโขโขโขโข Overall I feel this is a GREAT product to use and try, it worked WONDERS to completely cure two very over run and sickly Japanese Magnolia Trees, which are now producing Gorgeous Blooms! And, I no longer feel bad/guilty, because the trees look so bad/sickly (& I donโt have to worry about the scale spreading to our other plants!!) Unfortunately, I do not have any of the pics from the trees blooming this year, because I waited too long and there has been so much rain, BUT, Iโll try to update with pics next time they bloom, to show you just how gorgeous the tree and blooms are now, all cured, green lush and entirely covered in beautiful purple flowers!๐๐๐ผ

Fertilize your garden the easy way!
Comes with plastic cap so the spikes don't crumble. Just hammer them into the ground and watch your flowers and shrubs thrive! Slow release so they last the entire season.

Chop them in half
I buy these every year. More bang for the buck. I crack them in half and put at the base of my trees/shrubs. Any time I plant a bush I put them in the ground beneath the base of them to lure the roots down into the soil. Very good stuff.

Made my trees greener in the hot summer
I've been feeding my yard to help my plants resist the hot Texas summer. This has really helped my grass so I applied the same logic to my trees and shrubs and inserted these stakes as instructed. My trees were struggling to grow new foliage and would occasionally drop foliage resulting in a net loss. I knew I needed to do something to break this cycle and these plant food stakes were the right solution. I would highly recommend them, very easy to use and very effective for stimulating new healthy growth. Due to the extremely poor quality of soil in my neighborhood the trees and grass never stood a chance, but after proper feeding we are in good shape.

Jobe's Tree Fertilizer Sticks have given me the largest, most beautiful tree in my neighborhood
I purchased a new home in 2016. All homes came with the same Oak tree in the front yard. From the first year, and every year since I have used these Jobe's Tree Fertilizer Sticks in the Spring and Fall as instructed on the label instructions. I am a true believer in this product because it has proven itself over a 10 year period now. I have the largest and most beautiful tree in the entire neighborhood, even compared to other homes where their tree was planted 1 year before mine. I will never purchase another brand and I will continued to use these Jobe's Tree Fertilizer Sticks every Spring and Fall.

Great Product I would Recommend
I used these when I lived in the US and they were great. So glad I finally found them in the UK,, but they are more expensive here. Regardless, they do a great job feeding the trees and shrubs and I will continue to use them.

Great for long term shrub and tree care
I first used these stakes in the US and swore by them. For new and established trees and shrubs, they seem to provide great long term slow release nutrients and promote solid steady growth
