3M C314-BLK Washi Tape, 0.59-Inch x 393-Inch, Black

Purchased this to mark out a calendar on my classroom whiteboard. Worked perfectly and then was easy to remove. Not too thick but sturdy enough.

I love this and I use it to cover the annoying lights from appliances. Easy to tear, easy to apply, easy to remove. Like sticky paper but better and sticks long term.

This is washi tape therefore it is not meant to be super sticky, this a type of masking tape meant to be used in painting not to be permanently stuck to anything. This tape does the job it is meant to absolutely perfectly. Ignore the dimwits who gave it negative reviews who didn't have a clue what they were buying.

I bought this tape to do a washi tape mural in my new apartment. I bought one and, upon receiving it, realized it wasn't enough for the mural I was doing and had to order two more. I love the sleek look of this tape. It was perfect for my geometric mural! My only complaint is that it was not very sticky. When I had the ceiling fan on during hot days, the tape would fall of the mural at the corners. I remedied this by retaping the corners with clear tape. Not a big deal but not ideal. Great crafting item! I look forward to doing more washi tape crafts in the future!

I was looking for something to create a design on my front door that would stay up for a few weeks but not leave any residue. I took a chance here, since this tape didn't say anything about outdoor use, and it worked like a charm! We did get some rain during those weeks as well. There were a couple of times it started bubbling up or peeling slightly, but all it took was running my fingers over it to smooth it out. And I really can't complain considering this is meant to be indoor tape. I'm giving this 5 stars overall because it was exactly the balance of durability and adhesion that I wanted. I'm giving it 4 stars for adhesion because it isn't the stickiest (but that's not what I wanted), 4 stars for durability because it wouldn't stay up forever (but that's not what I wanted), and 4 stars for value because I thought there would have been more tape on the roll and I just barely made it without running out. So be sure to look closely at how much tape is on the roll and how much you need.

I use it to finish the stapled sides of canvas on bars for giclees. Works great, stays stuck, lasts and doesn't sag.

I used this tape to make a pattern on my bathroom wall. Since it's waterproof, I assumed it would stick ok, but within a day the edges were peeling on most of the pieces. I didn't want to waste 4 hours of work though, so I discovered you can use a glue stick to keep the edges down. It's been fine now. Not the highest quality, but also it's only like $3 so I can't complain.

I own about 62884626194 rolls of washi tape, yet for some reason I thought this was coming in more of a masking tape roll kind of size. I do not know why I thought that, but I did. But it’s washi tape, sure enough! We got it to block off every other pew for Good Friday and it worked just fine. Nice smooth finish. I’m adding the leftovers to my collection! 😋

I couldn't find black "Washi" style tape at Michaels and this one was just what I wanted for my scrapbooking project. It adheres as well as any other tape and looks perfect.

Nice tape, but not sticky enough. Edges peel up, doesn’t stick well long term.
