Best Budget Mech for someone getting into Mechanical Keyboards!
After researching countless reviews, I can honestly say that this is one of the best purchases you can make if you are just starting to get into mechanical keyboards. As this is my first mech, I can truly say that this keyboard is beginner friendly and easy to understand. This keyboard is incredibly worth it for the price for the great RGB lighting and quality switches. As I began to customize this keyboard, I realized that the stabilizers are lubed! They aren't the best stabilizers but the little detail to even get them lubed is greatly appreciated. Having a great budget hot-swappable keyboard at this price is just amazing! One concern I have though, is the switch puller. At times the puller becomes unstable and sends the switch flying across the room. The keycap puller is also a concern because as you try to pull them up and inspect the key, the glossy finish on their sides get moderate scratches. The top of the keys (also the extra colored keycaps ) have this matte finish that doesn't attract finger oils though so that's a great plus! In contrast of some reviewers, the RGB features is also very easy to understand once you read the letter/user guide. It shows exactly what keys you need to go through the different options. The RBG is also amazing in the dark and even in direct light. This is an overall great prebuilt mech at a budget for gamers and typists alike! This mech can also have some improvements with customization but overall happy with my purchase. Happy to join #teamasceny! :)

Fantastic budget board!
I really wanted to get my first 60% since I have a TKL and a 65% and this one looked both colorful and the reviews looked promising. Upon receiving the keyboard, I was surprised by how light it was. This is a fully plastic keyboard and as I'm typing this review out right now, the keyboard is definitely a bit loud, but nothing super obnoxious. I got Gateron Black switches and they are the first good quality linear switches I have ever had and I love them (I have only ever had a keyboard with Outemu Red's and those were awful sadly). Colors are super nice and while you are a bit limited without the software to change the options, they are still nice. The software sadly is not the most amazing to use, but it works. I recommend that when buying this keyboard with black/red switches, you add o-rings as they dampen the sound well and makes them feel amazing. Lubing the stabilizers also made a big difference on this board. The stabilizers are not bad, just a bit noisy. I am extremely happy with my purchase and anyone who is looking at a low-cost 60% board with a stylish and colorful look should definitely consider this board!

Excellent Budget Keyboard
I have been using full size keyboards for quite some time. I wanted to transition to a 60% keyboard and started my research. I started with reading reviews from multiple sources and concluded that this is the keyboard for me. A big part of my decision was the positive feedback that others had on the product. I also took in to account that their message seemed down to earth. The humor is there and that along with a quality product is magic. I received the keyboard in a timely manner thanks to Amazon and was eager to try it out. While unboxing, I noticed the quality of the product. It feels sturdy and not cheap in any way. The first thing I wanted to know was the feel. I began typing with the intensity of a hacker in a television series. I was creating a GUI interface using Visual Basic, to see if I could track an IP address with speed never seen before. The feeling was amazing and I was stimulated both through feeling and sound. Thanks Asceny for the pleasure. With all that out of the way, I will say this is a great keyboard. The price is right, the feel is right, the sound is right, everything is just right. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone because I know it will not disappoint.

A very nice budget keyboard
This keyboard, for the price, is fantastic. The build quality is superb, and the weight is very nice. However, being a budget keyboard, there are a few pain points that stick out to me. The biggest one is the quality of the switches. I wouldn't expect a keyboard this cheap to have pre lubed switches, so I can't complain too much, but its something to be aware of. Out of the box, the switches are VERY scratchy and do not feel very smooth at all. The other downside is the tolerance of the switches themselves. This board is hot swappable, but the switches are in the plate so tight, it feels like you're going to break them every time you go the replace the switch. All that being said, for the price, this is a wonderful keyboard, almost a 5 star product when grading on a curve, and a solid 3 star product even when put up against more expensive, premium boards. The LEDs are bright enough, the layout is good, the keycaps feel very nice, with a very nice feeling satin textured finish. If you're looking for a cheap board for a second computer, or looking to dip your toes into the world of mechanical or 60% keyboards, this is a great place to start.

Best keyboard ever
I have had this keyboard for 4 years and spilled many drinks on it but it never once had a problem recognizing inputs(even after countless hammer fists), after so long some of my buttons became sticky from so much spills so I bought another one and I am really surprised it was only 20 dollars. Got an extra charger for my vape now as well this might just be the best keyboard of all time

Gateron Optical Blacks in an RGB board for 40 dollars?! What?! The value at the price I paid ($40), is unbeatable. It's hotswappable among opticals (which is limited, but who cares, it comes stock with Gat Blacks!). It is otherwise identical to virtually every other sub-$100 keeb out there. It has a clean, stiff plastic body, high profile walls, nice RGB, GREAT switches, and comes with a hilarious letter in the box that I will keep secret, in case you buy one yourself. At $80, I am starting to look at options that have software, as these keebs are likely all made by the same OEM manufacturer, so the only difference ends up being "Does it have software?" I still think it would not be a BAD purchase at full price, just for the switches alone, but it is merely amidst the competition. At $40, this thing is a no-brainer. The only other keyboard I would recommend in this price range is the Magegee Star61 (an analog hotswappable), but this thing DESTROYS the Star61 (unless the Star61 is also on sale). The value proposition here is so good that it is not just an "I recommend you buy it on sale," but rather, I recommend you buy 2, so you have a backup. There is no single $80 keeb on the planet that can come close to the value of owning two of these. You'd have twice the expected product life, on top of the insane life expectancy of optical switch boards. Get two with the same switches and you'll have a backup set of switches in case of failure, or get two different switch-types and enjoy the variety. Don't have any money for PBT keycaps? Doesn't matter: you now have a backup set of caps to swap out once the shine sets in! Wanna fiddle with case dampening, but don't know what the hell you're doing? It's okay: you have a backup! Despite the fact that I have way too many keebs in the sub-$100 range, I have just talked myself into buying a second one of these. Perhaps I am just a fool, easily separated from his money, or perhaps the value proposition here is just that good!

Had for just over half a year and still works great. It has hot-swappable optical switches and mine were pre-lubed. Great for the price.
