I have used silk pillowcases for many years. I don't know it they are really better for hair and facial skin, but they are very nice & a great way to pamper yourself! These are a nice quality for the price, the silk has a good weight to it and it is very soft. I have had more expensive ones and these are definitely comparable. Since they zip up, your pillow will not squirt out of the case, so I found that a good feature. They are the same on both sides, all silk. They are genuine silk and that will keep you cooler than synthetic fake silk "satin" cases will. If you have not had real silk cases before, they will last much longer if you hand or gentle cycle wash them & hang to dry- do NOT put them in a dryer ever! They dry fast. I got the pink & light purple & the colors were lovely, I will be ordering more of these!

I am so happy I purchased it! I had researched a lot before purchasing this. I had bought one previously, for ultimate protection for my skin and hair. The one I purchased previously (elsewhere) was cheap, rough and thin. It was really low quality. After researching what to look for, I decided to try this one out. I knew that this wouldn’t be the TOP of the line, but I also wasn’t willing to pay $50+ for just one pillowcase. WOW! Am I so glad I decided on this one. It’s the perfect thickness, it’s buttery soft. It’s comfy, I don’t slip and slide at all. I highly recommend this, I love that it has a zipper, it is hidden as well, so it won’t scratch your face or snag your hair. I actually want to get some sheets as well. I imagine it would feel luxurious on your body. I haven’t even checked if the seller offers a sheet set but I am checking as son as I finish this review. (Fingers crossed)

I’m not sure about the quality. It wrinkles terribly and is stiff for a while after air drying. Not sure if the price of the satin and the effect is worth the price. I really don’t notice a difference with hair and skin.

Got this yesterday and slept on it last night! This pillow case is super nice. It’s cool, and very comfortable. No more scratchy pillow case for me! It’s amazing get one and thank me later.

I thought I would try one of the silk pillowcases but there are dozens of them and no way to be sure which I would like. I gave this one a try and it was silky soft and a very nice black color. I wondered about the hand washing and if it would be too fragile. But, not having the patience or time to hand wash and dry I threw it in the washing machine and hoped for the best. Was I pleasantly surprised!! It came out just fine and I was so happy it did not damage it. I have done that ever since and it still looks great! Besides, the hidden zipper still works as well which has been another surprise. So, when I decided to buy a second one, I got lost in the hundreds of offers but I wanted the same pillowcase. I finally went back to my Amazon purchases and had to look at archives (thank you Amazon) and found It! I hope nothing has changed in the manufacturing because I am completely satisfied with the original.

Idk. I have my doubts about this. It's very shiny. very, very, VERY shiny. I have bona fide silk pieces and one satin and it doesn't quite feel like either. I suspect it may be like a really good quality satin, or maybe a silk blend. Which is fine. I might be ok paying more for a silk blend than a really low quality $10 satin, but I really don't like being straight up lied to. Just advertise it as a reasonably priced silk blend that is a better quality than your average satin. I bought the champagne and it's a very nice color. I also bought a gold pillowcase from Abudor and they are the exact same item. Same shiny thing, same color, same plastic-y looking interior, same grippy feel.

I got this pillowcase for my son and the navy blue color is beautiful and it is a nice silk pillowcase with a side zipper closure. I handwashed it and hanged it to dry before use. It wrinkled a little, but nothing that isn't common with silk material. It is soft and fits a standard pillowcase perfectly. I also bought this in lavendar for my daughter. I have a silk pillowcase from Silk. These aren't as nice as the Silk brand, but that pillowcase was crazy expensive - retails for $89! It is nicer, but definitely not worth the extra money since this pillowcase was only $25! Great deal and nice customer service to check on arrival and to make sure there were no issues.

I have fairly long hair and 99% of the time I sleep on my back. I turn my head from side to side at times while I sleep and my hair never gets tangled or knotted up. I do not put my hair up in a hair tie or in a bun, I leave it free flowing, putting it above my head cascading over the pillow. The times that I do lay on my side, these pillow cases are very soft and comfortable to sleep on. I purchased two so I can always have one when I change the sheets, just in case I have a lazy day and do not get the sheets that I washed folded and put away and my pillow case won't be dry because you have to "line" dry it.
