Is this good for a Quaker parrot?

I buy it for a Quaker parrot. I'm not so sure it's the right seed since he/she throws out many of the ingredients. It could also be that the bird is just fussy.

Why is there no expiration date?

There is an expiration date on the back of the package. The vendor may have covered it with a sticker. Mine that I just received have a date of 1/9/22.

Does this food contain pellets or extruded food pieces?

It is mostly seeds with some small fruit chunks and it does contain a small amount of what appears to be more extruded food pieces. They don't have the same texture as the pellets I feed my bird. Hope this helps.

Can this be served to a caique?

I would think so. My Grey is very picky and this is his favorite. As long as your Caique can handle a sunflower seed I would think it would be ok.
