Thought I'd never change brands, till now.
This product is a life saver for me. I never thought I'd leave my ol brand, 30 + yrs we've been together.. But now I've dumped her for pur minerals. So glad I did!! I don't need full face coverage, just a tune up around my nose and flushed cheeks from, well.. You know. There's no blending blending blending.. not a problem w/color matching either..I brush over my redness, (1 swipe) maybe add a lil more closer to the nose or an ugly spot 🤨Packable if needed. A very nice product. I don't feel it on my skin. It doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup because I swipe(brush) only where I need a lil help. No need to cake. No breakouts, skin looks softer, even, and no makeup lines. I never need to touch up. My other products work very well w/pur minerals Highly recommend for all ages

Great day-to-day low maintenance foundation!
Best low-coverage but buildable foundation! Maybe not great if you have dry skin because it’s not greasy at all. But if you have normal/oily skin, it’s a really great day-to-day low maintenance foundation. The kind you can throw on and go to work - also sets well with blushes/bronzers/highlighters. Also good shade options for cool-toned and pale girlies. Highly recommend for those on the market for good clean foundation! TLDR: great foundation! Highly recommend!

I Never Had Brand Loyalty Before Pur Minerals!
When it came to makeup, for a very long time I would try lots of different products. I have Irish coloring (red and white) and have often had difficulty matching my skin color with the product names. I have spent a lot of money on products that didn't work, that I couldn't apply, that were too complicated or were ridiculously expensive. I had heard a lot about mineral makeup and decided to take the plunge... deep into my wallet.... and try it. The day I went to Ulta, there was someone who was teaching people how to apply the Pur Minerals system (primer, 4 in 1 powder, bronzer, blusher, and lip gloss). He selected the "light" foundation color for me and green primer, which tones down the redness... I loved how it looked-- and it was quite simple-- so I bought everything he said I needed. To the tune of about 125 bucks. But, I have to say, it was worth every single penny. The 4 in 1 Pressed Foundation includes SPF 15, concealer, foundation color, and I guess the 4th thing is pressed finishing powder? My routine is easy enough that I can do it in about 10 minutes. After I quickly apply primer, I load the kabuki-style brush by swirling it in the compact. I then make small circles all over my face to get good, even coverage. I then load the bronzer onto the same brush and apply in the hollow below both cheek bones and lightly sweep across my jaw line and at my hair line. I then load that same brush with a small amount of blush and dust the apple of my cheeks. I top it off with a Pur Minerals rose lip gloss that I love. Add a little eyeliner and neutral eye shadow and I am done! If it took longer, I wouldn't do it! The compact is a little expensive, but I've been using my current one since January (6 months) and it still has quite a bit of life left in it. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that a new brush should be included in the purchase price for the powders. It seems ridiculous to have to pay another 20 dollars for the appropriate applicator. Luckily, my Pur brush has put up with almost daily applications for all three products, and is going strong. I wash with a mild shampoo every 3 months or so, and rinse it thoroughly then let it air dry. The SPF 15 works pretty well, though I wouldn't depend on that solely if I was going to spend an extended period of time outdoors. I've been using these products for about 2.5 years, in that time, I've only purchased 3 primers and maybe 5 compacts and two each of the blush and bronzer (from starter kits) and lip gloss. I apply the products almost every day and am not a heavy makeup person, so that should give a good idea of how long-lasting the products are. They also make a "starter kit" where you can get smaller sizes of the main products and the brush (no lip gloss). They last 4 to 8 months (4 in 1 about 4 months, the blusher and bronzer 8+ months). I'm hooked on Pur!

Ended up loving it
For reference I ordered the color light, I am 31 years old, oily/combo skin, freckles and fair neutral skin. I have both pink and yellow tones in my skin. I took a wild guess ordering the color light and it blends well with my fair skin! I posted a few pictures, sorry the lighting isn’t great but I figured it was better than nothing. My hands are a little red in the pictures because it’s been cold outside. In the picture I am wearing one light layer of this foundation only. I am typically one of the fairest shades in most foundations sold. If you go to the PUR site they have a color matching tool both by matching from another foundation shade you have used (what I used) or also by a virtual try on. I also searched YouTube videos and googled pictures of the shade light to see if it would match. Now on to what I think about the actual foundation. When I first tried on the foundation I must say I wasn’t overly impressed. Like I mentioned I have freckles and I am used to a more full coverage foundation. The coverage is pretty light (on initial try on) and I didn’t think it was doing much at first. I’m not used to powder foundation. I wanted to try a mineral foundation because I’ve been having hormonal breakouts and I thought it may help. So I gave the foundation another few chances with a different more dense flat top foundation brush and also I put on two layers. I ended up really liking the coverage that way. I’ve used it with and without foundation primer. I like it with the bare minerals primer. When comparing this to bare minerals I like them both. I feel like bare minerals has more coverage with one layer. With the PUR I have to build it up more for coverage, but I don’t have an issue with that. In bare minerals I’ve worn both the shades fairly light and golden fair. This PUR is way more convenient and less messy than bare minerals. It does really well with my oily/combo skin type. It looks natural and overall very flattering. With any powder foundation I have to make sure my peach fuzz on my face is removed. That’s just me. I don’t think powder foundation looks flattering on me with peach fuzz on my face. All it takes is a little nair, no big deal. I am a mom of toddlers and this powder foundation is fast and easy when you get the hang of it. I love the idea of mineral foundation. I have noticed my skin has gotten better since wearing it every day in comparison to heavy liquid foundation. If coverage is what you are after I would suggest a dense flat top foundation brush or beauty sponge. Real techniques makes a great powder foundation sponge that I love and it gives great coverage with this foundation. I never thought I would be converted to mineral powder foundation after using liquid for so long but I absolutely love it. It feels so light and nice on your skin in comparison to heavy liquid. It also looks natural. I would describe the finish as a natural semi-matte or stain finish. It’s not overly matte and flat. It doesn’t make my skin oily which is a big thing for me because I have an oily t-zone. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I feel like this foundation claims to have great coverage, but in actuality you have to build it up to get more full coverage. My favorite thing about this foundation is I can throw it in my bag if I’m running late along with a powder brush and throw it on in the car really easily. This is essential for me as a busy mom! Most days I put this foundation on that way and hardly even look in the mirror at what I’m doing. Lol!

Nice Product
I really like it! First time trying this brand. I use it very lightly over my BB Cream just to smooth everything out and it applies beautifully. You do need to be careful not to put it on too heavy. It's a buildable powder so go light! Coverage is good, the color match is excellent for my fair skin.

I never believed in mineral makeup before
Back story: ever since I was about 12 (which is a long time ago), I was a Cover Girl pressed powder chick. Creamy Natural all the way, baby! No other powder matched my skin tone--or lack thereof--so well, nor did any other effectively cover my myriad of skin nightmares--cystic acne, scars, melasma, etc. Well, after 30-odd years of fighting with genetically lousy skin, I took the plunge and invested in laser treatments, specifically looking to obliterate the coffee-like patches of melasma on my forehead and the sad number of scars left from deep, extremely painful acne. The laser treatments were the catalyst for my switch to mineral makeup; I will never again use the regular stuff. When you're healing from laser treatments, you can't use just any makeup--you either go without (WHAT THE WHAT?!), or you must use mineral makeup. Unlike traditional makeup, mineral makeup is antibacterial and therefore safe to use on a face that's just been blasted by a laser. Mineral makeup is made from rocks and doesn't harbor bacteria. This kind of makeup also requires a slightly different touch in application because if done with too heavy a hand, it looks awful and can age you. I used to use Bare Minerals--which I also like--but I just could not find a good match in their product for my insanely light skin. Their powders either made me look like a ghost, or the powder made me look like I fell asleep in a vat of self-tanner. I received a tiny pot of Pur Minerals powder as a gift and decided to give it a try, since I was on the hunt for a replacement to Bare Minerals. I love Pur and won't use anything else. The light shade matches my skin tone perfectly and is amazing at obliterating rudiness. When used in conjunction with their concealer, I get a great, seamless finish and don't have to do my makeup all the way to my collarbones to look right. It's easy to apply, easy to love, and has replaced every other powder I ever kept in my arsenal. My skin doesn't break out a tenth as much as it used to, and that's thanks to mineral makeup. If you're wary about buying makeup over the internet, I get that. Go to Ulta and look at the shades in person to decide what works for you, then come back here and buy through Amazon. Much as I love Ulta, this Pur Minerals powder is often 2-3 dollars cheaper here and is a Prime item. What's not to love?

My favorite face powder!
I have been ordering this powder for years and I love it! It goes on nicely, isn’t caked on and is lightweight. It makes my skin so soft and does not clog my pores. I like the more natural look and this face powder does exactly that. I am wearing “light” and it matches my fair skin tone perfectly. I’ve tried many other face powders and I always end back up with this one because of how nicely it goes on and how good it makes my skin look.

Reliable Natural Cover
I always buy this makeup. I've got very sensitive pale white skin and with a big puffy brush, it covers freckles beautifully AND it has a sunscreen. I use the color 'Porcelain' as a cover up and 'Light' over top and on the rest of my face and neck. Perfect match.

This is the best, quickest make-up I have ever used
tried this several years ago when I saw it on The Shopping Channel. I am 75 years old and have oily skin and acne scars. This is the best, quickest make-up I have ever used. I do not plan on ever using anything else.
