Good solid everyday pouch

I'm what you'd call a master carpenter that's done everything. This pouch allows you carry what you need for measurements, cuts and even swinging a hammer. Anything more just ask your assistant to hold it.

I've purchased two occidental products and you can tell they are built to last. I hate wearing full size tool belts as I find them uncomfortable and usually don't need all the room. I wear this pouch on the belt of my pants and it holds everything I need. As other reviewers mentioned, its a bit larger than I thought it would be based on the pictures (in terms of how far the pouch extends away from your leg). The only reason I docked it a star is I do not like the location of the hammer loop. The hammer clanks around and knocks your legs when walking and the loop itself sticks out awkwardly which is a problem for me because I typically work in finished buildings where you have to be careful of nicking walls and doors etc. I just drilled out the rivets holding the loop on and wear a hammer loop on the other side of my belt which also helps balance the weight of the pouch. Hopefully the holes where the rivets were don't get larger with time.

This is my go to pouch for 50% of the work I do!! I wear this almost every day. Great quality and comfortable on the hip. Hammer loop is awkward but that is to be expected since all hammer loops stink.
