My 2 grandbabies LOVE Mickey so I thought they would have fun with this at Christmas. It makes SO MUCH noise from the movement. It is hard to hear or pay attention to the music with the squeaking and rattling of the movements. I wish I saved the box for return.

She has never reacted like that with a toy before
If you have a toddler that LOVES mickey... Dont buy this one!!! My daughter id terrified of how loud and aggresive it is. When I first recieved it I thought it was a too loud but since it was in the box I thought it might have a switch or something to slow it down a bit. But oh was I wrong. My girl opened the present on Christmas day with a huge smile and a "woooow!" then when the thing came to life she literally panicked! She has never reacted like that with a toy before. We then thought that maybe it was because she was holding it too close.. So a couple of days later we got the doll out again and activate it from across the room. As it started talking she got exited for a second..then it started moving like crazy so she screamed, ran to my legs and started shaking. She seemed so confused because it lookes lovely, and starts talking sweetly... And then it becomes a nighmare! i think it's because the mechanism is louder the the shouting and singing. Mickey is now back in the closet and since we cant return it and the doll is actually pretty, we are thinking about taking away the batteries so it will become a (very expensive and hard) plush doll. Luckily we got it on sale, but still, it's frustraiting and it makes me mad that a fisher price toy makes a girl cry and run away like that.

Fun but not for snuggling
This Mickey is fun and functions as described. However, it is not "snuggle" friendly (hard plastic) and will break/make a terrible noise if it is held while singing/dancing. Perfect for older toddlers who want to dance and play along. Not great for kids who want to show Mickey some love.

The twins love it!
Big hit so far for my twins. One of my twins is Autistic and loves mickey and music - he loves playing with it and watching it dance. My other twin loves the Mickey says games and dancing with Mickey. A few days into it and we've been pleased. I like that there is an off button though for when it gets to be too much.

My son loved this, mickey moves and grooves while singing and playing games... only downfall is the phases are sometimes quite repetitive...but overall kept him entertained for hours

Great sound, and very lively, but the mechanism almost drowns out the music with its own noise. Overall my two year old niece loved it.
