how do i program the auto timer?

Follow the enclosed instructions. At first, it's a little confusing, but when you realize you can set the timer for 16 different settings, you will see that all you have to do is set 1On - that's One On (for first setting on) and 1Off - that's One Off (for first setting off). (I know it looks like Ten with an N and Ten with an O in the instructions, which had me confused at first. I hope that's clear.
