I have had a half dozen feeders of the red plastic and flower port type and they all leak...does this feeder leak nectar?

I have never had leak problems in the least with these feeders - except when I go from the kitchen to the yard and I tip it. But when it hangs for the birds, no leakage at all. Are you making sure the two main pieces are tightly clasped together, and that there is no damage (e.g., cracks, etc.) in the plastic? And I strongly prefer these to the bottle feeders in terms of cleaning and maintenance.
