Mine works great. Bought over a year ago and going strong. Not sure what the other person said about not having a standard plug, mine does. Came to share the info so my friend can buy one, but sadly no more available.

It is solid, and it works well, but there's an error in the product description. My model came with a USB plug for power, not a standard two-pronged wall outlet plug. It wasn't a problem for me, because I have an extra USB-to-AC adapter that I can use with it, but for some that may be a real problem.

This is the second of these that I bought, it is perfect for “paint by numbers”. However the connection at the lamp base loosened and the light would just turn off constantly and I would have to juggle the connection to get it to work, most annoying. I like the light enough to give it a second chance, it is bright and magnification is super. So, we’ll see if this one holds up, I hope so.

this is a good light when it works but when it doesn't good luck getting any help. no website for light and amazon isn't much help. has a 1 year warranty but can't get it replaced

this item totally exceeded my expectations. when i unboxed it i was really surprised at the quality. for the price i expected something flimsy with a magnifying glass. but it is really good quality. the base is truly weighted n it does not move. and the light really impressed me. it really is wonderful. i love it.

Great light/magnifier when the power supply works. First one stopped working after a few weeks. Replacement was easy. Second one stopped working after a few weeks. The power will work and suddenly stop. Very frustrating. Too bad.

Only used it a little bit but it is definitely helpful in model building.
