Confirmed working with both Alexa, Google home, and smart things
I am fluent in smart home items as well as integrations. I have bought different brands from lots of stores. I am always wary when it comes to colored bulbs in the price range of Philips non-colored. Things to look for: o Compatible integrations: Alexa, Google, Smart Things etc. o Lumens and Watts: Example Philips hue is 6W (60-Watt equivalent and 800 Lumens) The higher the W, the more ok it is to lower the lumens. W is just power consumption, Lumens is brightness. Sometimes they can work hand in hand. o Make sure they app used is compatible with your phone or any device in the household that can at least be used once to set the integration. These are actually wayy brighter than another brands 650 lumens at 600 lumens. Probably where the 7W vs 6W comes in The App: Smart Life I have had products that use this app before and have never had issues. Same goes for these bulbs, I did not have any issues. Because I already had an account with them, I was able to get it all setup more quickly by skipping this step. Integrations added o Alexa · I already had Smart life skill for Alexa (Integrated to my Alexa account/devices), so when adding the first bulb to the Smart life app as a new light, My Alexa app instantly popped up stating ‘New lighting device detected’ with the bulbs name. Off to the races from there. o Google · This was my first-time using Google Home, but it was just as simple when connecting the Smart Life account to my Google Integration. Google Home app also instantly detected new lights. o Smart Things · For my Samsung Smart things, I just use integrate them all here. So when a new integrate is added, its all in one places. o Ways of having both · There are two ways to do this § 1. You can integrate them all into each one individually. · Meaning, Connect Smart Life to each Integration (Alexa, Google, Smart things etc) § 2. Use one as the Main that is connected to Smart life, and then add that to others. But then do not add Smart life to others as duplicates. · Meaning, you can add all smart vendors to let’s say smart things. So Smart life, Philips hue, Wyze etc are now all on Samsung Smart things. account. You then can integrate Samsung Smart things to be connected to Alexa and Google Home. § With Method 2, you only must touch 1 (Samsung Smart Things) when adding new devices and it will do the same quick addition to Google and Alexa. § With Method 1, you will be adding Each new vendor to every time you get one. · Meaning, If you wanted to add Smart Life and Philipes hue, you would then have to add it 6 times (Smart life to Alexa, Google, and Smart things + Philpis Hue to Alexa, Google, and Smart life) Where as with Method 2, you only add it two times (Smart life + Philips hue to Smart things, and Smart things sends to each)

Simple to use. Really nice color ranges, excellent quality
I ordered these 6 months ago and am loving how these work. I use it with Google assistant but I also use it just with the Smart Life app which does not require voice (I'm not a huge fan of voice control). I love being able to change the color and hue and brightness on a whim, especially in various rooms, at any time I like. I also really like the ability to remotely turn on or off lights if I am not even at home. I would not say these bulbs should be the primary source of light in a room at night, they are not all that bright, especially in a large room, but I was looking for a more ambient, warm light bulb anyway, not primary lighting. I have primary lighting already, but needed these for accent lamps, television watching (which I need to have a dim light on when I watch), and for morning light. I absolutely love these, and found them simple to set up, simple to control, and I miss having them when I travel. I have purchased a second set of these for another house, and like them better than the Phillips or peteme smart bulb. The app is quite simple, I think it's easier to use than the Google smart app, which I have but prefer the Smart Life. Definitely purchasing more. The life span has been excellent and not needing to replace any just yet.

Great product, few cons
WiFi speed: 10mbps Smart speaker: Alexa on Sonos One Farthest distance from router: 20ft Pro: No need for a smart hub. This was a big plus since I didn’t want to pay for one. Responds well to voice commands for color I.e. “Alexa turn hallway light green/red/blue/soft white”, as well as brightness. Primary colors are vivid and the different strobe functions are fun to play with. I really like the multicolor strobe function for parties. After the difficulty of setting them up I’ve had no problems with connectivity over my fairly poor WiFi and it integrates easily into my Sonos’ Alexa system. I’ve set up voice activated routines so I can easily turn multiple sections of lights on and off all at once. Brightness on white was great and together they light up my entire 600^2ft living room/kitchen. Cons: Took some difficulty to set up, even following the instructions it took me nearly an hour to get all four working, though this was my first experience with smart equipment so it may have been operator error. Works best if you screw them into an appliance near your router then move them where you want after setting up. Have to change colors one light at a time unless you set up a routine, so really that’s not much of a con just takes a little extra work. Brightness on colors is pretty low, don’t plan on filling up a whole room with just one light on red. Can’t use voice commands to turn on strobe even with a routine. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase. I’ll update this if I start having problems down the line, but so far everything works great and I will be buying again to set up the rest of my house. I was nervous about buying so I hope this review provides people with all the information they need and some peace of mind.

I ordered 2 packs, installed the 8 bulbs a bit everywhere in my apartment, they are all connected through the Smart Life app and I can control them easily from my google home assistant. One of the bulb was not working out of the box though, I contacted the support which answered in the hour and will send me a replacement for the defective one. Very happy with that purchase and the vendor, I can recommend it.

I bought these at least 2 years ago, none have burnt out. They work great but disconnect about once a month, then you’re left with a blinking light until you reconnect on the app. I quite enjoy them but wish they would stay connected.

The shipment of the bulbs is faster, and all the bulbs are in good status when I opened the box. I register an APP called Smart Life (use either phone number or email to register this APP) and add the 5 bulbs in this Smart Life APP. So, there are 4 bulbs that I can use the Smart Life to control. Then I open my google home, go to SETTINGS then click WORK WITH GOOGLE. Search Smart Life on Google and then click to link the Smart Life app account to Google Account, which you need to enter the username and password of your Smart Life App again, then authorize to link the Smart Life App account to Google Home. You can redefine the name of each bulb to let your google use the names you give to the bulbs, or like me, I rename the bulbs in Smart Life App instead of in Google home, I rename one of the bulbs as “office light” in Smart Life App, so I can call Google Home to control the bulb by calling the “office light”! Less than 10 minutes I can register the app and finish the setting in Google Home, and I really like the function of changing the colour and set up a routine of ON/OFF. Nice seller and great product!
