No they are not sealed at the bottom. Just dividers. If you need a file folder that is actually sealed on the bottom so that receipts won’t shift around, do not order this file folder.

Is this product slim enough for use in a larger expandable accordion file like for organizing inside one of the sections?

There are 4 sections in this expanding folder. Once each section is filled, the folder is probably to large to fit into one section of another folder. Check the dimensions of each folder. It would seem that your folder will have to be much larger than this filled file folder to make it work.In addition, the bottom of a file folder is smaller than the top when expanded to allow another folder to fit inside.

Exactly as described

I still use paper notes. Maybe that is old school but none the less, I needed a file folder where I could store and transport my papers from my home office to my office. The clasp on this plastic file folder is tight and secure. There is ample room for my papers and it is tall enough I do not worry about papers getting damaged in transport. It is a wonderful way to protect and organize my documents. It has four dividers in it which is what I needed to keep things organized.
