I bought this for my now 14-year-old Audi when I upgraded my iPhone and the factory connector no longer fitted. This cable both charges your phone while driving and enables the use of multimedia apps such as Spotify, iTunes, et cetera through the MMI system. it also enables satnav notifications when using media as a source. However, if you are listening to the radio you will not get audio from satnav. This cable has been going strong for years now. Really good quality no issues, would thoroughly recommend.

intermittent use
Old short lead works fine, bought this item to extend my range but the signal is very intermittent, not useable.

Audio and Charging Only, No Track Info
On my 2014 Audi A6 with 3G+ MMI this cable charges my iPhone 13 and plays audio from the phone as an AUX source. There is no album art or track information, and track skip from the MMI does not work. It's very basic

Works perfectly for music, doesn’t charge
Audio plays through the full surround sound Bose system in my 2007 Audi Q7 with this cable which is the main goal I was hoping for. The additional ability of charging the phone doesn’t work however. And unlike previous cables I’ve had the the artist and song doesn’t display on the dashboard display.
