Sweet Tone - Recommended
From the beginning this D Ditz Flute was a better quality instrument with ease of long clear tones and refined hole positions - half holes are more easily achieved - as a recent entree of the Ditz this instrument seems easier to accumulate the memory muscle to copy repetitious Chinese flute music found on YouTube. Great product and I recommend this specific instrument above other more inexpensive alternatives.

No negatives to this flute!
Excellent packaging. Beautiful flute. The tone is superior. Changing octaves is much easier with this model. Slightly heavier than some of my flutes and it’s a great feeling during play. Love the D carved into the side. No negatives!

Very happy with this dizi
I bought 3 different dizis this month not knowing what would work for me. The 8881 has been the real joy. The lacquer finish is very nice and no chemical smell. At the joint, the metal pieces are flush with the wood and no burs unlike the others I bought. I can tell the maker really cared about their product. The tone and balance carries well through the scale. High notes are easier to play verses the others. I feel I have a high quality instrument capable of learning this type of music.
