Brilliant bit of kit, I was using a snap on solus 3 from a friend but it couldn’t do it. So I read up on this and from what I read it could do it. Took less than 5 minutes after updating it to reset the counter on my eloys / DPF fluid tank. This job was gonna cost me £250 at a garage but did it myself for £160 including buying the fluid and this launch diagnostic tool! It’s very easy to use and guides you through why you need to do. Worked on my Citroen and seems to work on a whole host of cars. The free software updates for life was another good selling point! Excellent value for money and also now I have it I can use it on future vehicles too. Highly recommended for the at home diy car enthusiast!

Great item however it has now developed a fault and is useless I have only used it a couple of time and it's only a few months old

In a world of electrical cars and brains doing half the work, I decided it was time to buy this. I fix my own cars and needed something that will tell me where its hurting. I have done regens with it and diagnosed multiple faults. My toyota CHR required electronic caliper rewinding when changing pads. Again saved me. Cannot complain about it in any way. Use it a couple of times and you already saved money

I have been wanting to update my OBD2 engine tool for some time because of the limited features it has with regards to vehicle systems and only being able to diagnose engine faults. When I started to research about new scan tools it soon becomes a mine field. Most scanners are more expensive, some offer different features, others you have to pay for updates, and app based ones are great value to buy but you have to keep paying for extra resets and vehicles anually. That's when I stumbled across the Launch CRP129E. Not to be confused with the CRP123E which looks exactly the same but can't do some of the extra functions that the CRP129E can. So the CRP129E made by Launch. After receiving the scan tool I was pleasantly surprised at the nice build quality. It has an in built battery and acts like a android tablet. You setup WiFi and a few other items and your good to go with only a few clicks. I bought this tool as a home DIY mechanic as I look after my family's cars and a few for friends. Very simple to use with a nice interface. It's a really nice upgrade from my old tool. Plugging it into my first car, a Vauxhall Corsa E 2017. It initially does a health check over each of the systems. And allows access to the normal engine, ABS, SRS and Gearbox (my Corsa doesn't display the function as it's a manual car). You have full diagnosis of these systems, you can view sensors behaviour and outputs via voltages and graphs etc, and the option to reset. The tool even keeps a log of what's been done, so you can look back later. The battery means you don't have to have it connected to the power supply all the time. And you can email the reports from the device for printing etc. Now the extra functions that this tool has are the important bit. It has free updates for life. No plugging into to PC's and registering. It downloads directly from its WiFi connection straight into the tool. It covers a huge array of manufacturers. This tool also has the service reset functions which is above what the CRP123E can do. It allows oil light reset, throttle pedal relearn, TPMS reset, electronic parking brake reset and steering angle sensor reset. This functionality can vary on different makes depending on how each vehicle is configured. I'm really pleased with the tool, it's future proofed for a while and allows me to maintain more modern systems than I have been able to. I would definitely recommend.

Unit arrived fully charged. Had to upload some software. Select what vehicle you want will download quicker. Diesel regen is found under service. You will need to download software no charge for that. It says you need to have 10litres of diesel before you proceed with a regen mine used approx 5/6 litres drove for thr recommended time 30 min and 70mph . Lotes of codes showed up when i scanned that my old unit didnt but mostly historic so cleared all of them. Only bug for me is when it downloads vin number and shows vehicle details it shows vehicle country as USA and couldnt find any where to change. All code errors can be sent to your email to view ans save or print . Well pleased with this unit for the cost

No vale para nada no te lee todos los coches que pone algunas cosas te lo pone en inglés un cero le doy a esta máquina e echo la devolución hace 15 días y aquí sigo esperando a que vengan a por eyo y me devuelvan mi dinero pero visto lo visto parece que va para largo

El producto llegó genial es muy funcional y es bastante sencillo de utilizar, además es bastante completo en todos los sistemas del coche . Hay ocasiones que el VIN lo detecta automáticamente y otras veces hay que hacerlo manualmente pero no hay ningún problema. Muy buena impresión además te guarda los informes de autodiagnosis y hace captura de pantalla y las memoriza .
