I was skeptical that a teflon tool would be any different than the tool that came with my scoring board. I was wrong, it really is better. Smoother and doesn't leave any marks. Feels good in your hand and is nice & sturdy. And a great price.

If you're working with black cardstock or poster board and don't want to leave a colored mark when scoring, grab a teflon boning tool and you'll love the way it looks! Works great!

The greatest tool ever invented for card making. I love the design of this bone folder. One end to score lines, and the other end to help crease them. The creasing is what I particularly enjoy about this bone folder. The flat end creases my card bases perfectly, leaving no markings on the cardstock. My old bone folder always left marks. I had to use the side of the bone folder to crease my cards. I never really got a good crease impression. I love that this new bone folder is made of teflon verse the plastic one I had before. It's smooth and there's a little more weight to it (which is the material the bone folder is made out of), which does not affect the function of the tool at all. I highly recommend this bone folder to all paper crafters, in particular, those who make handmade cards. It is worth every penny, and it is a huge staple in my card making supplies.

As advertised, this burnishes really smoothly and leaves no marks on the card stock (unlike my other (plastic) bone folders). It's also weightier than the average bone folder (I'm guessing because it's made of Teflon & about twice as thick - but that's OK). One end is completely straight which is a lot more effective when burnishing than the rounded corners on my others. The opposite end has a nice defined point so you can get into those tight corners a lot more effectively, while my others have a rounded point - the blue one, a ball at the end of the point for scoring. (While helpful in that respect, it's not helpful for getting into corners of boxes, for example). The only thing(s) I'd change are the length (from 6 1/2" to about 8" to help balance the weight), & perhaps the price. But I'm still very happy with it & glad I made the investment because of its features and professional results. Highly Recommended!

I was interested in this because of the claim to not leave the paper shiny after burnishing. I found this not to be true, and that is my disappointment. Otherwise, I like the weight and length. The small end is good for scoring, but you have to be careful as you may end up with a tear, as I have done a few times. So score with care. I seem to keep up with this one better than the smaller, flatter ones that I also have. All in all, I like the product. I thought I was getting the set with the folder and the wider, flat tool, so I was disappointed when I saw it was just the folder. My fault.

I love these bone folders. I keep one on each of my craft tables. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. Work great for reaching in to corners.

I just received this teflon bone folder a few days ago and have found I make more accurate folds and much sharper doled creases than my old heavy plastic one. While the point does score, I find it much thicker than I like for my score marks so I continue to use my small ball stylus tool for actual scoring. Other crafters have always said a teflon bone folder would be a game changer and now I believe them! The bone folder does take some getting use to since it is much heavier, thicker in the hand, and more square than my old plastic one. It is also a lot more expensive but has been worth it so far.
