So Glad I purchased this product
I must say I did read the reviews for this item and other competitors. I finally narrowed it down to Marena Recovery. When I searched for a compression garment online I did run into Marena's website. I got a better view of the product. I really needed this garment asap so I went back to Amazon and searched for the exact product number as on their website-Amazon had it. The price was the same. I did need this within a couple of days so I did order from Amazon the SFBHS2, Short Leg No Closures, and glad I did. I received it within two days. The garment my dr gave was super uncomfortable and imprinted my skin, so while I waited for this one I used my high waisted high quality leggings. Once I received it, I did inspect it to make sure it was brand new, indeed it was. I ordered a Small, I do wear small in clothes. I wasn't sure if my measurements would be equal to my swollen belly. However, I took a chance and it was perfect. At this point I don't think I'll need to go down to the XS in a few weeks because it's nice and snug but we'll see. The key is knowing how to put it on. It may sound pretty straight forward but remember you have a swollen abdomen, tender, and needs healing. So that's where you want to put it on correctly. At first, it may seem the waist is small, but once you get above that it's all good. The thigh area is very comfortable; impressive. The straps were perfect as I am 5'3. I did adjust to longest length. Garment is very smooth, absolutely comfortable, evenly compresses your body without imprinting into your skin like the drs one. Material is soft and stretches, and breathable. The crotch area is pretty wide to pee, I personally will remove garment for the other use of the bathroom so at least you don't have to worry about wetting your garment in trying to remove it or unbuckle it. There are no clips, no zippers, you pull up the garment to put it on and pull it down to remove it. Do your research, everybody's body is shaped differently, and do go by the measurements. My waist is 26, rather than going with a XS because it ends with wait 26 I went with the Small starting at waist 26 to be on the safe side. Highly recommend it!! all around great service and great product.

Good compression
This is the same brand I was given by my Dr after surgery. It has good compression around my abdominal, but not too tight. The area around my rib cage is a bit uncomfortable, but with other brand I tried that was unbearable. It is currently the hottest part of summer so these are not helping but I’m not sure there’s any other material that would be better for the heat & still compress. I’m only 5’1” so the legs on this are too long to wear with shorts. But it’s much more comfortable than the style made like underwear, as that one cuts into my legs. I have to wear compression all day every day so I’ve tried several different types & this one by far is the best I’ve found. I went by the size chart & it was accurate.

Great for post-op
If you have abdominal surgery of any kind, you will likely be told by your surgeon to wear a compression garment for a number of weeks. This brand was the more comfortable of the two that I purchased. It has the advantage of drying very rapidly. You can wash it out by hand and hang it up and it will be ready to wear in the morning. It is significantly more expensive than some of the other brands. Shop for sales and purchase in advance of your surgery.

STRAPS ARE WAY TOO SHORT AND TOO FAR BACK
The suit fit me perfectly for my torso with very firm and comfortable compression after 360 liposuction. I also had liposuction on underarm fat and for those areas this suit was unbearable. I had had misgivings on ordering it because of complaints that the straps were too far back toward the armpit, but, being a good sewer, I figured I could deal with that. After slipping the straps over my shoulders, the suit hurt, a lot. I extended the straps to maximum length and crossed them in back, which moved the front strap ends closer together and a bit farther from my armpits. I wore it that way for a half hour before I had to release the front strap hooks for relief from the pain. With the straps not fastened, I found that I would have had to add at least 7 1/2 inches to the length of the straps. It was a no brainer to return it at that point. I was very disappointed. I'm five weeks past surgery and still haven't found a good bodysuit.

It would be wise to order more than one
If you were told to use this post surgery you should truly order at least two. The reason being that your surgeon will likely expect you to wear it 24 hours a day, removing only for showering, for several days.

Buy bra strap extensions
This product does the job but I must agree with the other reviews regarding painful short bra straps. The traps dig into your armpits and is extremely uncomfortable. I ended up buying bra strap extensions and it was a game changer. I highly recommend doing this if you purchase this product. To the manufacturer, please make longer straps so people don’t have to make extra purchases.

post op body suit
I had major surgery and I was given this post op. I have to wear this for 90 days so I thought I would buy another as I need to wash them and they work great! The compression is great and while difficult to put on (because of the swelling, not because of the material), once it is on, you forget you have it on. Highly recommend!
