This 5 cd package is a great place to start with Joe Satriani or replace LP's. They are cds in cardboard liners, but you get some great music. With some of his other material as 2 cds for 1, you can get a lot of material. I got as much as possible. This set plus "Time Machine" a 2 cd set started me out nicely. Good, high energy guitar. He has his lovers & critics , but you have to admit he can play. Sony & other companies are releasing a lot of older cds as multi- packs. Get them while you can. I thought it was worth every dollar. I have bought other groups as well, & some are going up in price.
