GREAT for dab rigs!
I absolutely LOVE this torch! I use it for medical marijuana vessels that need a high temperature flame and it performs better than the smaller micro torches. This is a great torch for heating a dab rig, dab straw, nectar collector, nectar straw, or any sort of dabbing vessel. It is a wonderful product for anyone who has painful joints in their hands, as it only requires a medium-light squeeze on the ignition trigger. It has been GREAT for my painful joint days!! I can imagine it would be easier to use for arthritis patients too! It is a little top-heavy, so when the gas is low in a canister, it is liable to tip over. I keep it in a tall metal cylinder to avoid this. Also, when you first add a new canister of gas, the flame will be erratic. It tends to do bursts, so just turn it down a tick when it does. It will not do this as frequently as the gas in the can starts to lower. Also, the gas cans are readily available at Sam's. I have seen them at culinary or restaurant supply stores as well. Overall, I've had this for 6 months and it has performed beautifully!

Great Product - Works Like a Charm!
This is a great little torch. I don't know why it's advertised as just a kitchen torch when it can be used for so many things. It works good and seems to be very sturdy and easy to use. One of my favorite things about it is I can turn it upside down while using it and it still works. That is one of the annoying things about my big torch. I make my own plant stands and texture the wood with my torch to give it character. I also do pour painting and use it to torch my paintings to pop the air bubbles and bring the cells to the surface. I did another video showing how well it works upside down but was only allowed to post one video. I've only had it for a few days but tried it out on on the wood burning and painting to make sure it was going to work for what I needed it for. I can't attest for longevity but it appears to be good quality. I'm sure I will find other things that it works for also.

Awesome torch with great features at a very reasonable price
This is a great torch for the price point, it's got a built in ignitor button, so you don't have to worry about using a match or other lighter to start it up, the adjustable gas flow knob means you can just turn the gas flow on, pull the trigger to light it, an then fine tune the flame to your desired size, the fact that these run off butane cans means you can sit the torch upright and run it hands free, which is very useful, it's heat is more than you could need to light most anything,an it's also got the fine tuning knob in the front to soften the flame, I honestly wasn't expecting such a nice torch for the price, definitely would recommend, just make sure you get the right type of cans of butane fuel for it, I believe they are typically the 8oz cans.

Well made
This torch may look like others, but it is different. It is held together by screws. Most of the other lookalikes are glued together. Its a cheaper way to manufacture, but it cannot be maintained. The glued versions are essentially throwaways. For instance, if a bit of moisture enters, it must be thrown away because it cannot be dried out. The screws allow access for cleaning and general maintenance. I expect this torch to last for years. The flame is very adjustable. It can be a "soft" or "hard" shaped flame. It can be strong, or meek. It is very easy to use. I use it mostly for crème brûlée and for charring Sous Vide meats.

Professional Butane Culinary Torch
I had concerns initially as this torch burner only fits on certain butane canisters which are hard to find anywhere locally via internet search. The torch burner itself is not expensive, but the shipping and handling of the butane canisters sold online are too high to be ignored for the overall cost. Luckily, I found out that Costco business centers carry them as lots of restaurants are using the butane burners which use the same type of canisters. So, without a second thought, I placed the order immediately. (Later, I bought Gasone butane canister and Iwatani butane canister on the Amazon. They are cheap and work well, too) I am glad I bought this torch. It is sooo easy to turn on and off, it is well made. Instructions are clear and simple. Flame its big and easy to control. The flame is around 22 cm when full throttle. I use it for cooking: creme brulee, searing beef, charring eggplants for Middle Eastern food, grilling skin side of fish fillets for interesting Japanese touch, getting the perfect texture on salmon belly, and touching up the skin of oven-roasted chicken. Pros: -Cheap Fuel -Steady, Hot, Wide flame -Adjustable flame intensity -Big. It sits well in the hand with a fuel can attached -Trigger for lighting the flame. No lighter or sparker required -Trigger does not control fuel flow. I thought this would be bad at first, but it would actually be a pain to have to hold the trigger down for extended use Cons: - It didn't come with a butane canister. And finally, don't buy this torch as a present to a kid. Do not even use this product creatively anywhere near a kid.

very solid nice torch my second one from this brand
This is my second torch I purchased from FunOwlet. I keep one in the kitchen and rely on it heavily. I decided to buy another for my camping gear. This one seems to be the next upgrade from the first. Very similar but feels a bit heavier. Gas flow knob and ignition trigger are slimmer and "prettier", but function just the same as previous model. It has very solid quality plastic body. Internal parts appear to be made from brass. It lights up on the first click of the trigger. Controls are easy and smooth. Easy twist and click attachment to a standard butane canister found in any Walmart or grocery store. So much better than refillable torches in my opinion. Other than very minor differences in appearance of some features I cannot really see the difference between this and previous model. Both are equally good and at the price currently sold on Amazon, not just a good value but a bargain! Maybe I should get a third one for my garage...

Just twist on the fuel canister, turn the dial and fire it up. I know it's hot because it will melt tin foil. I use to brown steaks after sous vide. Use your imagination for other uses.
