ACCEL Super Tune-Up Kit ACC HST1

it fitted my engine better then a JDM\OEM ! i liked it plus it put a nice yellow color with a flashing distributor great buy so don't hesitate and think for long time buy and install :D PS. i didn't see much of difference in driving with that kit but i had an old problem with the wires so i thought changing them to ACCEL might be better then OEM and it was better.

Pretty cool kit but had 2 set backs with the cap tho. First is one of the 3 mounting holes wasn’t drilled out. And second problem is a fit issue. Only way to describe it is maybe the cap shrunk. It’s having an issue setting the last 1/16-1/32 and I have an air gap where it’s not setting against the gasket. I tried swapping out to old cap thinking somthing was blocking it but found no issues. So far car seems to run good

The cap does not even come close to fitting my 99 Accord 2.3L vtec distributor. The coil does not fit the bolts for mounting in the distributor and the rotor hole is too small for the shaft and oriented 180 degress the WRONG direction. I have NO clue what this product is for but it is CERTAINLY not for the 98-02 Honda 2.3L engines that have distributors with internal coils, despite explicitly being marketed as such. Please correct this misinformation as it is wasting everyone's time. If you own a 98-02 Honda with an F23A1 engine, do NOT waste your time. This distributor will NOT work for you, despite claiming on every website that it will.

it looks very nice, seems to run smoother with slightly faster throttle response, haven't checked mileage yet. Only negative I noticed was the clear plastic cap was flimsy and needed finesse to make fit correctly, the brass terminals have a plastic feel about them as well. The coil is well built, but one hole did not line up perfectly so I had to run the bolt through from the opposite side once first just to cut threads for it to follow, then it went together fine. The wires fit great with just a slight loop towards the distributor side, looks nice.

The quality of the items was excellent however I have a 1998 accord and they say this will fit but they made that car with two different types of distributors and my type was not supported. I contacted you and you said it was an error and would send me the proper kit. I got the second kit before I could return the first, however the second kit was exactly the same as the first. Come to find out they do not make a kit for my exact car. Someone should have recognized this before the second kit was sent. Sincerely John

Everything went together great and worked well for about 2 months....then had to replace the entire distributor and coil because condensation was somehow getting into the cap and then corroded all the ends off of the cap and the coil tension spring actually rotted in half from the corrosion. I wont buy it again.

the product looks good, place pear in my Honda Accord I find that spark plug wires 3 and 4 cylinder are short are way too tight and you can not go through the brackets that hold the cable. why do it to save or is the company will go bankrupt by a few cable centimestros. another detail is in caps that seal the valve cover and costs are rather small in position acomudarlo hope not to miss water when washing the engine. distributor cap if I am right and the components that came with it. in what may upload photos of these details. for this reason 3 stars.

Used on a 2000 civic know what distributor you have before you order
