The Gryphon Convertible Grinder is supplied with two grinding bits, a 1" and a 1/4". Of course the grinder can except all other sizes of bits as well, including our Slip-On Bits A new electric automatic pump supplies a reliable and constant flow of water directly to the bit regardless of saw orientation. The use of a sponge is optional with the electric pump.

Cleaning out water and glass residue each day is a must and not a big deal. Really spits out a side spray and I recommend setting up a large shield off right side to protect the rest of your work space. Surface is a great size for glass maneuvering. Paper patterns glued to glass get really wet and tend to fall apart in all the pump water, so use heavy duty patterns .Assembly instructions were confusing but got it together and love it. I’ve only used it for 4 glass projects so I’m hoping it will last for years.

Apparently it is great as my wife is steadily grinding away and I have yet to hear gnashing of teeth or bad words. The tilt feature is really nice, allows her to sit while correcting "small irregularities" in her cutting! Only bad is it is sometimes kind of hard to hear the TV when she is correcting a large irregularity! If it holds up and I think it will, I couldn't have gotten her a better diamond glass grinder. Probably has 20 hours or so of use so far as she is doing a rather large and complicated window.
