Umi no Shizuku Fucoidan is made in Japan, and is certified by The Japan Health and Nutrition Food Association, which honored JHFA(Japan Health Food Authorization) to Umi no Shizuku Fucoidan products. Umi no Shizuku is also the only brand studied and recommended by Japan NPO Fucoidan research institute.

why the differences in prices between products?

Some of them are just grained seaweed which is not call fucoidan in specific way and others added some other ingredients such as rice flours.

is there iodine in this product? how many capsules per day?

Hi Chris,To answer your questions, Umi no Shizuku capsule type contians 0.0014mg of iodine per capsule. The recommended daily intake by World Health Organization is 0.09-0.15mg for children under 13 and 0.15-0.67 for adults.Mathematically, you would need to consume 100 of our capsules per day to obtain the daily minimum intake. However, if you are still concerned about iodine present, our liquid type does not contain any iodine.I hope this helps!
