Great - even for non-hikers like me!!
First, I am not a hiker (by any stretch of the imagination). I have spinal issues and have difficulty walking any distance. I am that woman who grabs a cart in the parking lot at the store to help me get around. I LOVE these poles!! They are very easy to use once you get the hang of them. They are easy to adjust consistently with the markings printed on the poles, and the thumb latches can be tightened or loosened to facilitate that. When you get them it is important to take the time to figure out the proper height, adjust the hand straps (the hardest part for me), and technique for using them. I found a number of videos on YouTube which helped (and were better than the manufacturer's tutorials). The different feet are easy to switch out and you really do want to use them - they definitely help! I find them particularly good when walking on an uneven surface. I think it's probably the position my back is in (slightly tilted forward) that reduces the pain I experience when walking. They are lightweight but sturdy and easily slide in and out of the well constructed carrying bag. I keep them in my car because they come in useful when going to an outdoor concert on the lawn, if all the handicapped parking spaces are taken, etc. An additional plus is that I was able to use my medical coverage's wellness reimbursement benefit to pay for them (which I'm generally unable to use). I have no idea how these would work for serious hiking but they are helping this 64 yo woman continue to lead an enjoyable independent life. I am SO glad I purchased them!!

Great poles at a great price
Really solid carbon hiking poles at ~half the cost of comparable. I took these on 120 miles of the Haute Route in Switzerland and they held up great. The carbide tips gripped the granite perfectly, were very light and easy to collapse and pack away. Highly recommend!

Super
I have always wanted to try carbon poles when it wasn't cold outside (I've heard they don't do well under certain temps). For the price under $35 I had to try these. Also made some top ten review lists when I looked them up. My other poles are LEKI Sherpas (which are great). So far these are on par with those at a fraction of the price. SO lightweight. And good quality. No slipping on the adjustments and can take some pressure on them. I am a big guy and have beared down on them with no problem on the trail.

Great Entry Level Trekking Poles
This product is very well crafted and incredibly stable. They dont get that loud vibration from contacting the ground like cheap aluminum poles do. My only concern would be the plastic flick locks but they still seem to do the job. I honestly have not had much time on this product but have taken them on a 10mi walk. With in that time, i have found the straps to be comfortable and while they are only single direction, i do not really feel that is a major fault. They are padded and reflective which is a nice touch. The cork handle while soft, i did find that each handle had a hard protrusion which was not comfortable. i simply picked the protrusion away and now they are without fault. The aesthetics of the pole are pleasing and stylish with decent graphics on the upper and the middle and lower shimmering with carbon. One thing to note is this was made with carbon rod and not carbon weave. Nonetheless, a wonderful product. i have applied full pressure to these poles while standing and they have held up fine. Utilized them for flat lands, ascends and descends and all have proven the use of these poles while trekking a 35lbs pack. They certainly are beneficial. I would reccomend these poles to anyone looking for a budget pole and while they say you can not replace the tips, im sure they can be replaced by dipping the tip in boiling water. I have yet to attempt this but when i do, i will update with specifics.

Very Functional & Light For The Price
I took these on a long hiking trip and very much appreciated the additional power from using my arms and felt more confident negotiating streams and tight trails with them. The handles are reasonably comfortable, the cork feels good, but the straps do come loose and require tightening now and then. I have only used the smaller baskets. They are easily adjusted and feel secure. They are light and much lower costs than what I saw in recreational stores.

Great trekking poles
These poles are exactly as described and functional. It comes with a carrying case and multiple tips for various hiking and walking terrain. It is durable and holds its position well once set. Additionally, it is easy to adjust and shorten for putting in its’ case and in suitcases for traveling. Be aware that most airlines do NOT allow trekking poles to be brought on board. These poles seemed expensive while I considered what to purchase, but they have easily been worth the price.

Good quality
