will this heater heat a room 2000 sq feet 8 / half feet ceiling

It puts out about 1500 watts, or about 5000 btu's.  No, it will not heat 2000 sq feet unless your house is super insulated and in a warm climate.But, a $14.95 WalMart heater will do the EXACT same thing - 1500W is 1500W.  I do like the line:  "Persists through power outages".  What on earth does that mean??!!  PEOPLE - LISTEN:  A 1500W heater puts out about 1500W (or about 5k btu's) no matter what.  Electric resistance heat is around 100% efficient.  Forget about all the quartz/infrared/bs.  Physics is physics.  But if you want to pay almost $200 for a heater that will do the same as a $14.95 heater, I guess you get a prettier cabinet!

Will this heater heat an 1100 sq foot home with 8Ft ceitling?  And hw much does it cost approx per day to run it?

$50 heater selling them for $200 !! rip off !! scam artist.
I'm a 4th generation electrician and he is not magically getting more heat out of his ir lamps. he claims %50 more heat from his ir lamps... magic I guess !! There is no such thing as overunity !!

So exactly how does this 1,500 watt (thats 12.5 amps @ 120 volts) heater save over any other 1,500 watt  (12.5 amp) heater? please be specific...

I bought this heater and have to say its pretty decent but unfortunately for me, it does not help with heating cost. Maybe its due to having a small house and not much of a heating bill since I use my wood stove most of the time. But the time I did use it, I seemed my heating bill was a little costlier oppose to simply using my electrical running boards. the following year, I opted not to use it and have not since. I find my electrical boards heats up the room much fast and turns off after a set degree. The infrared heater took longer to hear the room and seem to keep running for a long time before shutting of after reaching a set temperature. When it does shut off, it turns back on shortly after and keeps running for a while. My heating bill was a little higher  then normal. conclusion: Its a nice product but does not help me much with heating bill. My Electrical boards does a faster job in heating the room and stay off for a longer time before it has to turn on again.
