If you take the time to contour the tape and lay it properly it is practically invisible and can remain on during competitions making it a good value. We bought the narrower one for ease of laying and contouring. Ran it from insole to insole around and over the toe.

The tape was not sticky, neither did it left any residue after each skating session yet it still keeps my laces tight. Highly recommended. Will definitely order again
