TaylorMade Burner Super Fast 2.0 Rescue Golf Hybrid Club

I tried this club at the range and liked it well enough to buy the club. I am very new to the game (been playing for about 6 months now) and was looking for a good club for the 2nd shot off the tee. My iron game is not that great, and this club came to my rescue. I can easily hit 180 to 200 yards with this, and even mis-hits carry a long way.The club is light and very effective. Highly recommend it.

My bag had a big gap in it from my 2.0sf 3 wood to the 4 iron of the same set. I grabbed this club figuring it would put me right in the middle of that gap.I hit the ball on the longer side (just saying that to illustrate that this isn't a club I bought to gain distance with) but holy cow does this thing fly a mile when hit well. the ball just pops up in the air and keeps going and going. the launch angle is nuts for a 3 hybrid. flies a mile and lands like an 8 iron. So if you are looking at the burner series for some more yards, it works...HOWEVER....the shaft is long, take time on the range and try choking down on the club. The burner series is kind of known for this and this club is no different. I'm 6ft tall so I'm not a shorter person trying to adjust, I'm saying if it doesn't feel right don't be stubborn. try choking up on the club. It made a world of difference for me. I choke up and swing it like a short iron, contact is great and the ball explodes off the club face like it's made of dynamite. It took me a few rounds to figure out I needed to choke down. My miss went from the most wicked snap hook ever seen to a slight push of about 10 degrees. Heck of an improvement. It's hard to feel where the club head is oriented during the swing because it is so light. choking down made me more consistent and have a better feel for what the club was doing. swinging this seriously feels like air sometimes. Get it right and consistent and your swing speed goes way up.Good club once you learn it, put the time in and you will be very impressed with this little thing. I almost wish I had gone for the 4 instead of 3 because this thing flies so far it's not that much behind my 3 wood carry yardage.

I'm a beginner and already hit this club with confidence. It is light yet hits solid and the ball really travels. This Burner changed my hybrid from my worst club to my favorite. So much so that I have already ordered the Fairway 3 and am considering upgrading my R5 (though it hits really well).

Got it; cut off one inch; had it re-gripped; it is now good for my vertical swing. Worked well at the range but now we will see how it works when it counts.

Been having trouble with my long game and have spent a lot buying and trying different 3 woods and 3 hybrids. Found this on Amazon and after reading reviews, I thought I'd add this to my collection of disappointments. I'm not even sure why this one is better for me, but I'm glad I bought it. It's great off of the fairway but more importantly the weeds (where I spend most of my time). Probably added 30 yards to my drive. The Amazon price makes this a no-brainer. Looks great looking down at it too with the nice white crown. The grip is really good so I don't see a need to upgrade that either. Even comes with a really nice head cover. Nice job TaylorMade!

I like the distance this club produces, but the feel is very hard. Like a rock. Cosmetics are great. Set-up is great. Balance in my hands inspires confidence. Just don't get the feel at contact.

I am a loyal TaylorMade user when it comes to golf clubs and I haven't used any other brand in years. I have played with this hybrid for more than an year now and can't be more pleased with the purchase, the club offers very good distance in addition to forgiveness. I have dropped a few strokes from my game thanks to this club, I am getting 15-20 yards more with this club than I used to get with my old rescue. I have also been using a AeroBurner 4 hybrid along with this and it is safe to say that performance of both clubs is comparable. In all can't be happier with my purchase.
