Power Crunch Whey Protein Bars, High Protein Snacks with Delicious Taste, Cookies and Cream, 1.4 Ounce (12 Count)

This is my fav protein bar, despite not having a ton of fiber, only 1 gram. The taste, texture, whey protein mix, sweetness, has all been perfected. No artificial coloring that I am aware of, we get enough of those elsewhere. They are a legitimate wafer bar. Not the typical fiber chewy ones. I love all flavors of this bar, they sweet taste is not fake and they are quick and easy to eat. However, they are NOT filling so you may be tempted to eat another, but in that case just mix some protein powder and you're all filled up. They are best used for a night snack or dessert. And the quality whey protein is superb. It's just like a shake except add an additional 9g of fat, 4 sugar, 7 carbs. I am 10% body fat and these fit my diet nicely, 2 a day or so keeps me going between meals and after. Best flavor, probably the peanut ones, but it is good to mix up your variety as to not get bored. None I have had are gross or funny tasting. All taste real.

Power Crunch bars are the absolute best! I love them! Triple Chocolate and Cookies and Cream flavor are my favorite, but all the flavors are excellent. They are high protein, low carb, low sugar and taste like sugar wafer cookies. Even constructed like sugar wafers with cream in between each layer and then the crunchy wafer part. I have tried ever protein bar out there and most are so chalky with such a horrible aftertaste that I can't eat them. Not the powercrunch, I've been eating them for a couple years now and am still not tired or worn out by these little bars. I carry them in my purse in case I get hungry and they are a great alternative to a candy bar. Hands down best protein bar out there. Sure there are some other brands out there that I like, like Clif Bars but the carb count on those is so much higher. This is one bar I literally could sell door to door I love them so much.

These are the best protein bars I've tried, and I've tried many. Low carb and really delicious. I use them as a breakfast replacement many days. They fill me up until lunch time. I always keep a box at work so if I need a snack they are always here. I use the Subscribe and Save option on Amazon and get a box every month. Once in a while I order an extra box. The only issue I sometimes have is that in the summer they leave these outside and by the time I get home to take the box in they are hot and melted. I've learned to stick them in the fridge in the summers. If you are looking for a low sugar, low carb protein bar, I definitely recommend this one. It's satisfying, delicious and doesn't leave a gross taste in your mouth, like many other protein bars I'v tried. I love the Vanilla flavor. I haven't ventured out to try any other flavors yet.

In the past few years, we have seen a flood of protein bars. It's all about making it as convenient as possible. Instead of shakes, we just eat a protein bar. I've never been a big fan of these bars, because most of them were pretty much candy bars marketed as protein bars. That's why I only had them on work out days. I find them really inappropriate to use them as simple snacks. While still a fancy candy bar, the Power Crunch bars are made of wafers, so they aren't as sweet as traditional candy bars. They still have the sugars, but they don't taste as sweet. I have tried the berry, the vanilla, the cookies and cream and triple chocolate. The Vanilla tastes very closely to the Cookies and Cream one, so I probably won't reorder that flavor. With other bars, once I had them 3 to 4 times a week for a few months, I would get really tired of that taste/flavor. With the Power Crunch, I have been eating them the same 3 to 4 times a week, but it has been almost a year since I first tried them.

I am addicted to powercrunch bars. Soy does not sit well in my stomach but whey does and these have no soy protein in them. But unfortunately some of the flavors have an after taste to them and I am sensitive to that. The vanilla flavor is the worst I think. I don't like that flavor of these bars. But I LOVE the peanut butter ones. I don't find any after taste in them. But for a change up I decided to get the cookies and creme which is not too bad either. It does have an after taste but it tastes a lot better than the vanilla ones. But it has a super sweet taste compared to the peanut butter creme. Really, the peanut butter creme is the flavor I love but if I'm not careful I will eat them like candy bars and that doesn't help the weight! I'm not so inclined to do that with the cookies and creme, and yet I don't have any problem eating one or half a one if I need it. So maybe they are better to have on hand than the peanut butter creme ones! They taste good enough without being addictively good. :-)

They took a while to arrive, but are delish!

If you like white chocolate you will fall in love with this bar! For me, white chocolate is too sweet and this bar is dipped in it. Ok, it may not be real white chocolate but it taste exactly like it which is a plus to the company for duplicating the flavor. If you can get past the sweetness, the bar is actually pretty good. If you ever had a white chocolate Kit Kat, this is what it reminds me of. The texture is really light and flaky. I wouldn't leave these in the car in the summer because the chocolate will melt. They keep well on a pantry shelf. I ordered these on amazon because they are MUCH cheaper than Wal-Mart. You will pay almost $2 a bar at Wal-Mart. I like most of the Power Crunch bars but this one is just ok. If you are dieting and have a sugar craving...trust me...this cookies & creme flavor will satisfy it w/out you splurging.

I'm eating one of these Cookies & Creme bars while writing this review. Like the other Power Crunch bars I've eaten, this one is pretty darned good. Regrettably they are not gluten-free which is how I originally got started with Power Crunch bars to begin with (gift from a recent gluten-free convert). The protein to carbs ratio is reasonable. More protein would be nice but it's not bad. This is an ok pre-bed snack but a perfect middle of the night early AM snack. I keep a couple Power Crunch bars in a drawer in my bathroom for just such an occasion. It's hard to maintain the protein intake levels needed for weight loss and muscle growth. These bars are only a fraction of the individual meal protein intake volumes. But they help. They are tasty enough to be a protein-packed dessert in combination with a protein-laden entree.
