Magpul Remington 870 Front Barrel Mount

Overall great product, and definitely compatible for my REM 870 EXP. Would buy again maybe in the coyote tan color next 👍🏻

Works & looks great. Easy to install. Feels very durable with good grip & the flair at the back makes it much easier to rack.

I did install this on it H&R pardner (870 clone) I wanted something a little lighter because the H&R forend was so heavy that if you stand up the unmentionable, the action would slide down. This being lighter fixed issue and you are . also much faster with the action was a little tight ( like i said, clone) if you have trouble getting it on put your action tube in the freezer And set the forend on a heater. quickly slip in on. I set the action tube on a piece of plywood on edge that would clear the arms of the tube so I can apply pressure . You gotta be quick because the temperature evens out pretty quick once they make contact.

Took a little filing to fit an 870 clone , which is no fault of the piece, just be aware, if it doesn’t fit, a rounded file will handle it. Great function, holds a light and switch perfectly. Great grip and handstop function from the rise at either end. Highly recommend.

Fit my new SDS Imports Civet-12, BUT I did have to dremel a tiny bit of the hand guard where the “arms” of the actual forensic hit the new Magpul.. otherwise I couldn’t screw it on. NOT a big deal and took me maybe 30-45 seconds. Fits great now, looks great, feels great.

I do like this forend, just like every other Magpul product I have... However, be warned. The Magpul forend is 18 mm longer than a standard forend. It covers the magazine cap on a standard length magazine tube. If you have a sling mount (e.g., GG & G) that attaches to the end of the magazine tube, it can not be installed with the Magpul forend. I had to spend another $35 on a Magpul MAG508 Sling Mount. Kinda wonder if this is intentional on Magpul's part. Also, note that the fit is very snug on the forend tube assembly. At first I thought it won't fit. It just requires a little wrestling to get started (I saw one review where someone returned it thinking it was too small).

Well built. Light and easy to grab. Solid feel. CAUTION: If you are putting one on a Norinco/Hawk/IAC you will have to file the inside of the grip to fit the action bar and tube assembly! The Chinese made 870 copy has a thicker metal than the domestic made Remington. If you do not file it well so you can take the action bar and tube in and out easily it will bind on the magazine tube and make racking the slide difficult and slow! Also if you have a Norinco 981/982 with a barrel heat shield you will have to remove it. The Magpul is to tall to accommodate both. I purchased it to clear the receiver so I could fit a Tacstar 6 shell side saddle. It works just great for that purpose.

This foregrip looks awesome, has great purchase for your grip . Better than the original that came with my Blueline 12 gauge by Hawk Industries. Looks cool af and gives it a more stable grip for transit through the bush hunting if thats your thing. Not quite as flush to the reciever as the OEM is , but still adds a tactical feel to it . I use both foregrips depending on my 12 g mood ... PEW PEW!!

MAGPUL品は全体的に角ばってて好みが分かれそうですが、純正の丸っぽさに不満があったので私には合ってました。 薬指をひっかけるような形でスライドしています。
