This set of drills helped me out of a tight spot. I had 2 x 40mm sheared bolts that needed extracting. After center tapping the sheared bolts I made pilot holes with these drills. Then I was able to use my left-hand drills and extractor set to safely remove the sheared bolts. I used 2 drills for this project, they appear accurate and neither drill broke during the process. 13 drills for under £10 is also a very good price. I am very pleased with this product.

Not as hard as you would expect if they really are cobalt steel, but the TiN coating works and they stay sharp. The plastic box is a bit of a pain as the drills will not stand up for selection/re-stowing, but otherwise, very happy.

Fine, but, on stainless and hardened steel, expect some breakages with the smaller bits and expect that it will take around 15 minutes per mm to drill (if holding the drill by hand and not a press). I also found that they blunted after a while, and then, of course, it takes even longer, extending the time even before you get to the end of the first hole. I broke two bits and sent one completely blunt drilling one hole in a stainless bolt. This is likely my issue do to the choice of bit for the application, as carbide bits would have been a smarter choice. I have now rectified that, and will keep these remaining bits for other, less hard metal, applications.
