Trio Stage 3 (Carbon) Replacement Cartridge. Tip is carbon impregnated fiber element which reduces chemicals, heavy metals, and improves water taste. Lifetime of 264 gallons/1000 liters or 12 months out of packaging. UF hollow fiber membrane will continue to remove bacteria, protozoa and some viruses even if carbon element is over 264 gallons. Hang packaged.
