Yes, this set of Karajan CD is the same as you see in Karajan 1960, 1970, 1980 and Karajan Opera collection, the box is much smaller but design of the box is similar to the previous 1960 collection, hopefully this review will help buyer to decide if it is necessary to purchase this set of Karajan.I also included the size difference, hope this will help.

I can be wrong but i believe most of these are included in the previously released 3 big boxes of Karajan 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Thus I decide to return this product. Be mindful before placing the order.Update on Mar 4, 2017:Various sources confirm that all these recordings have been included in the previously released Karajan DG boxes (1960s, 1970s, 1980s and Opera box). As such, don't be confused and think this is a "fifth" DG box of Karajan even though it bears very similar design solely by observing the picture made available on Amazon.
