So I ordered the peppermint conditioner from amazon and the dandruff shampoo “control” from their site directly. I’ve always struggled with dandruff my entire life and have tried literally every dandruff shampoo on the market and they either smelled terrible or didn’t work. The control is super strong, a dime size amount clears everything up and I’ve only been using it twice a week because it’s so strong. The conditioner is really great too, I could immediately see and feel a huge difference, way more hydrated and softer than before plus the peppermint smell is really nice and covers up the smell of the control shampoo, which is definitely a better smell than any other dandruff shampoo but it’s still not great. The menthol helps hide it some.

Smell is not offensive. Not the favorite smelling stuff I’ve ever put in my mane, but it’s not bad. I’m can’t stand strong smells and this doesn’t bother me. No idea how this is considered “tobacco.” Maybe because it’s a shade of brown. What I like most about this, that other conditioners I’ve tried don’t do well at, is that while it makes my hair feel softer, it makes my hair lay down better. Most other condones make my hair flood up more, or more voluminous. This tames the mane a bit better for me.

The scent is fine, but it’s a very heavyweight conditioner, providing average-at-best results. Not a great value for the price.

I was recently using this conditioner (won’t name it) that insanely dried out my hair. Like when I say dry, I mean dry. Limp, dull, lack luster. Fast forward the next day and my Pete and Pedro conditioner came and BOOM, instant moisture and volume when my hair dried. So soft and fluffy and it was like it breathed life into my hair. Scent is very strong but pretty pleasant and almost nostalgic if that makes sense.

It smells amazing. I use it in combination with the Power shampoo. Makes the hair instantly feel conditioned. Washes out easily. Will be buying for sure again along with the Power shampoo, salt spray and the hairstyling cream. Love these products from Pete and Pedro.
