I was a little disappointed as there was a huge gap between the handle and machine. Had to purchase some spacers needed four. I would have expected better for the money. Apart from that works well

Other reviewers are correct. This cutter is truly robustly made but is rather fiddly to reassemble. I don't have a solid wall, so I mounted mine on a bread board, leaving room to get my toe on one side, as it tips when pressure applied. The blades could be sharper. I also extended the handle by 9'' with plastic tube. Now no muscle trouble and it will quickly breeze through a bag of spuds if used on the floor. I used 4 off c/s 6mm x 40mm stainless socket bolts. A bit of a hassle but now it rocks.
