They make cords so short on appliances these days, and my coffeemaker cord was about 4" short to reach the outlet when I bought and plugged in my new toaster oven next to it. So I got this cord, and it did the trick very nicely. Now I'm back to get two more, because I love the flat and rotating features of it, one for the microwave and another for the toaster oven. The microwave plug has been taking up 2" of my almost nonexistent counter space (apartment), and this will give it back to me. The toaster oven's cord from the plug is too close to it for safety, so the other one will take care of that. Also I have light gray walls, and the white color of these plugs will definitely look better. What a deal, here! Beauty and function. You can't beat that!
