Can you ship comics in this at media mail prices?

This is a common confusion: Comics are specifically *not* allowed for media mail. The shipping rate is offered at a discount for "educational" materials, which include books, manuals, records, sheet music, medical information. The Post Office specifies, "Media Mail packages may not contain advertising. Comic books do not meet this standard. Books may contain incidental announcements of other books and sound recordings may contain incidental announcements of other sound recordings." It doesn't matter how old the comics are, and whether the advertisements are still valid.

Can you just mail in this box?

Yes, I own an Impinge Comic Book Company and we ship these out ALL THE TIME!! I always ship 1st class so that it comes with a tracking number from USPS and the price ranges from $7.80 - $13.50 (depending how far from your address within the US it is going for its destination: FOR EXAMPLE- I mailed one comic mailer, with the address written on the front, with 6 books, wrapped in bubble wrap, from RI to CA and it was $13.42). For shipping 1-3 comics, do you also add the cardboard fillers, or it is strong enough without them?

The mailer is strong enough to ship 1-3 comics by itself. It also has multiple perforations on the inner flaps to pack smaller quantity comics as snug as possible. Thanks!
