I thought the shirt fit well - not too loose and not too snug. If I lose some belly fat, the shirt would look better too to be honest. Regardless, the material feels nice. Other reviewers mentioned that the material is thin. and it does seem more like a fabric that you'd associate with a running shirt that's breathable and wicks away moisture. I think that's what the "performance" description is intended convey and that's why I purchased it - as a shirt to play basketball in or run in - though I couldn't see the actual blend on the tag.
