JessEm 04301 Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides

This product, although is a little pricey, is Haley worth it for many reasons. First of all this set up, will allow you to effortlessly rip anything through your tablesaw and you don’t have to continuously fight to keep it against the fence or laying flat. Even if you let go of the piece being ripped, the Jessum guides will prevent the material from being allowed to be shot back at you and this is also a extra form of safety not only does it prevent material getting shot back at you, but it will enable you to provide perfect cuts effortlessly every time. Especially when cutting a 45 bevel on the tablesaw, it tends to always want to lift the board up slightly off the table and will cause irregularities in the width of your piece as it rips the 45 bevel, but when using the Jessum stock guides, they keep the board perfectly flat, and give you a effortless time, pushing the peace through the tablesaw . I’m not sure if the price just went up to 300 bucks but I did get mine for around 250 only a couple months ago so seems like prices are just going up everywhere for everything but either way I would still even paid 300 for them. I’ve been thinking these things would probably be a great addition to any jointer as well the router table for sure. Although, I don’t think they’re quite equipped in strong enough to be used on a shape or at least, depending on what exactly you’re doing with the shaper, but as for a tablesaw router table, and possibly even jointer planer addition, it is going to be one of the best investments you’ve made in a long time. What I really also like about Jasons products are they do not seem to rust and/or corrode like many of the other big companies these days like Grizzly rikon in the lot. They have a lot of tools and products made that have to be maintenance and oiled and cleaned or they will rest up easily while I’ve had many Jessum products like this one, and they do not even need to be treated. They never rest and are very very well-made And in the situation you truly do get what you pay for and that’s a quality product once again from Jessum.

Where to begin. The box was well-packed and included everything needed for installation, featuring high-quality parts and a sharp metal drill bit that remained sharp throughout the process. The instructions were the most straightforward I've had the privilege to use. The cost was a bit high, but the value for the money was evident in the material quality alone. Installation was easy, and the fit was exceptional. The best for last, this unit does exactly what was described that it would. I made the best cuts ever today. Way to go, JessEm! I'm now a huge fan!

Everyone should have one of these on their rip fence. It really helps with the quality and accuracy of your cuts not to mention the overall safety improvement that it brings.

I just mounted this on my Uni Style Table Saw Fence with Sacrificial UHMW Sub Fence Face that I have on my 40 year old Craftsman table saw. The assembly was fairly easy. I didn’t even look at the instructions. The only modification that I made was to grind about 1/16” off of the mounting screws because they bottomed out in the T slots before the JessEm guide was tightened securely. After that it went together quite nicely. It functions perfectly and I’m very pleased!

This product was well packaged and arrived undamaged, a feat in itself. The JessEm stock hold downs were fully assembled by the manufacturer. All that was required was to install the mounting rail on my table saws fence. As fence construction varies ill not detail my particular modifications, they were minor. A great deal of thought went into the mounting rail design and making it simple for the consumer to install. Every tool and fastener was included except for a drill motor. I made sure to set my mounting rail .812 back from the face of my fence so the hold downs can be swung out of the way without removing. I work on furniture in my home shop this requires me to transition through different set ups on the saw rapidly and frequently. The ease of setting hold down pressure and location could not be quicker or simpler. Stowing the hold downs is just as fast. The manufacturer chose high quality components and the machining is excellent. Fit and finish are other manufacturers of similar products should strive for. If you are looking for a set of hold downs to increase your accuracy and safety to the ripping process buy these. They wont disappoint. I was not compensated for this review. UPDATE: Have used these many times since installation. The simplicity of use and flexibility of adjustment is fantastic. An added benefit I began realizing right from the beginning: the smaller pieces of stock are held in place on the table after the cut is complete. I don't have to chase small pieces behind the saw any longer.

First off, let me say this device is an amazing hold down. It's very easily configurable. It installs relatively easily and stays out of the way when you want it to. AS LONG AS YOU STAY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FENCE. If you want to put it on the right side of the fence, such as if you are left handed or have a reverse spin shaper, or want to mount it sideways to push the work into the fence, you are just plain out of luck. It wouldn't be hard for them to build the one part necessary to make it work on the other side, but they don't. My second, smaller complaint is that the rubber wheels leave a very slight residue on the wood. This is absolutely no issue if you're going to sand the wood later, but if you don't sand, be aware of this and adjust it to a lighter push. This is super easy to do, of course. So, overall, very much worth the money. So much so that I'll buy more. And may even get the part machined to handle the reverse rotation situation. If you're doing the normal stuff, this is hard to beat.

This system is an outstanding addition to any shop saw! I bought these to aid in making shiplap siding and they were exactly what I needed to perform the repetitive cuts and keep the planks down on the table and to produce consistently good cuts over the hundreds of board feet I ran through my saw. Because I was making 4” shiplap it was a bit tricky to come up with a way to push the boards through at the end as using both of these close to the dato blades made it a challenge to push the boards through. Once I got it figured out I was off to the races.

High quality, easy and fast to install. Super easy to use and the best part, you have just made your tablesaw way more safe to use. Would highly recommend even for saw stop users. Improves the quality of your cuts too.

Ideal safety addition to workshop, especially for the older woodworker.

Fits onto the festool SAWSTOP TKS80 via the optional LA stopper. The LA stopper fence has a T-track that the clear-cut fits into. The combination of the SAWSTOP and clear-cut is probably as safe as you can make a table saw without not plugging it in.

Does a great job of holding stock against the fence. Takes some getting used to but now I wouldn't be without them Curt quality improved and safer.
