i see bad reviews stating cheap manufacturing does anybody know if platinum has fixed this?

I don’t know whether the tool has been improved. My model is the EX-RJ45, p/n 100004. It seemed to work Okay in the beginning. Now after going through less than a bag of 100 Platinum EZ crimp connectors it no longer works on pins 1,2, and 3. The block slips to the side of the pins and bends them. I dug out my $5.00 non ratcheting crimping tool to finish my project. I am a homeowner and only use for projects around the house. I need to get a tool that works and it most likely will not be a Platinum tool.

What is the correct replacement blade for this crimper There is no model number on the crimper just a patent number: 5,996,224 Thanks!
