I picked up this outlet wall mount for my Google Nest Mini, and it’s a really nice upgrade compared to having the speaker sit on a counter. The biggest benefit is how clean and organized it makes everything look. It mounts directly into the outlet, so there are no messy wires hanging down, and it frees up counter or shelf space. Installation was very simple — just plug it in and place the Nest Mini into the holder. It fits snugly and feels secure once in place. I also like that it positions the speaker slightly higher, which actually helps with better sound projection and voice pickup compared to sitting flat on a surface. The only minor thing is that it does take up the outlet space, so depending on your setup, you might lose access to that plug or nearby outlets. Overall, this is a simple but very effective accessory that improves both the look and functionality of the Nest Mini. I'm a sucker for cord management and this is perfect! We have the Google home mini gen 1 and this fits well enough. It seems like it sticks out a bit but it actually fits. Plus it comes with an adapter so the plug fits into the slot snuggly as well. The cord goes in just right and pleases my perfectionist self visually. Super easy to install this in like 2 minutes without any issues. Until I realized we use this in our bathroom and may need to use the lower outlet for bigger plugs (blow dryer, etc.) So I placed it in the top and to my surprise it stays put, slightly flimsy feeling but it hasn't fallen yet. Might 3m tape the back to the wall for a little more security though. Hope it lasts. Didn't know how much I needed this till I got it and I'm not turning back.

These are great mounts for the google home mini. They are a bit fragile but not too bad. I have bought 4 of them and only on one of them did I have the tabs break off, and I was being rough with them. But they can break off so be careful. My other gripe, and there's no real way to solve this so I'm not gonna knock off another start, is that it's a pain to lay the wire in and make sure that in the end the micro-usb end of the plug is at the right spot to plug into the mini. It needs to be tucked back into the top and facing down. With those two things being said, you can't really beat these for the price. TL;DR - Careful with the tabs and be prepared to mess with the cable a bit to get the right fit.

This is a pretty cool gadget. I found these whole looking for speakers, and immediately wanted one. My Google home device can't be placed anywhere near my bed, and I cast to it a lot. Well, there IS an outlet right above my bed! So I was totally thrilled to find this. I bought used, because I really didn't see the point in buying it brand new when it's just a hunk of plastic. I followed the instructions... it was a little difficult to fit the cord behind my device, very tight and I had to lift up the place holders a bit to slip it in. But it fit perfectly... they must have designed the inside of this especially for Home's power cable, because it fit perfectly with no extra space or not enough space to wind it around the device then slip the plug into the top base. The only issue I had was it fell out of our old as dirt outlet at first. That was early fixed though by stretching out the prongs just a tiny bit to create a tighter fit in the outlet. I can hear it loud and clear now. I'm not really sure about voice commands and calls yet, because I don't really know where the mic is. But so far, it's gone great. If it doesn't do voice well, I'll update this review.

Received a Gen1 and a Gen2 Nest Home Mini and wanted to put one in the kitchen and one in the guest bath. Wasn't thrilled about the idea of setting them on the counter where they could get splashed or have something spilled on them, so went looking for a mounting solution that wouldn't break the bank. These fill the need perfectly, easy to install and looks nice. The mini sits flush with the face of the mount and still allows access to the volume buttons and microphone switch. Power wire wraps neatly inside the back of the mount, and it comes with an adapter ring for the plug so it can be used with either Gen unit since they power blocks are different sizes. Very pleased with the design and quality, have already ordered more.

This is the best google mini wall mount I have tried. Everything fit perfectly and easy to install. This must be the second gen because it had molded grooves on the back to manage the extra cable versus the four tabs like in some of the pictures. It has the exact amount of grooves to hold all the cable and leave just enough slack to connect the power cord to the mini. The mount is fairly sturdy, I have tried mounting it both ways vertically and it holds it very well regardless of the orientation. I didn't' try to mount it horizontally since I have no outlets that are installed that way. The socket for the mini power adapter comes with a sleeve now so it fit perfectly on either the gen one or gen two mini power adapters. Very well engineered and would highly recommend it. It does not fit UK plugs. Yet the picture and description said it would. BAD INFORMATION!!!

Doesn’t fit the Google home mini plug as provided in Australia. Not sure if the plug is maybe smaller everywhere else in the world.

Awful product. Cheap plastic tat which doesn't even for the plug socket for the google home mini in the top. Waste of money. Would be 0 star but 1 is the minimum you can give!
