Does exactly what it's supposed to. It has a nice smell and makes my hair feel soft, tangle free, and moisturized. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has to be used on damp or wet hair. It's not unusual, most shea moisture products say to use them on damp hair, but I hate having to spray water in my hair just to use a leave in conditioner. If you just pressed your hair the day before, wetting it to put it your daily conditioner defeats the purpose of having straightened it at all. I'm generally not a fan of my hair being straight, but I do press it maybe twice a year and after going through the trouble to do it, I'd rather it not be undone immediately.

I am forever grateful for Shea Moisture "Daily Hydration Leave-In Treatment. I am mixed, black and white. My hair is naturally curly and naturally nappy lol. My hair tangles very easily, especially after washing it. In March of 2023, I tore a ligament in my right thumb. I am right handed. I ended up having surgery and being in a hard cast from March 2023 until July 2023. Around the same time, I was looking for a new hairbrush to help with detangling my hair because the regular hairbrushes were just tearing my hair out. I ended up finding one that I really liked. It felt like it glided thru my hair with ease. When I finally got my cast taken off 4 months later, I realized that my wonderful new hairbrush was gliding over only the top layer of my hair. I have curly/wavy medium long hair. My hairdresser is always telling me my hair is too dry and I need leave in conditioners. I use this before my curl cream and gel and it works great! My hair is a lot softer now and I like the scent.
