Direct replacement for my C6 Corvette. Quick replacement.

These hood struts are superb and extremely cost effective! They hold the hood at any level you choose without it moving. Total time to install was about 1/2 hour. The right side one was a bit more difficult because my Corvette it has an aftermarket supercharger an there was a hose veru close to the mounting stud and I had to get it from under the car.

Fits well, functions as described.

These fit perfect on my 2011 Grand Sport. Decent value. Do yourself a favor and get the clips ready to slide on in the slots and they'll go on very easily

I was able to replace the rear hatch struts in my 2006 C6 Coupe in under 10 minutes. The replacement struts include connections for the rear defroster, which were no problem to disconnect and re-connect. I was also able to re-use the protective plastic covers at the bottom of the struts. The ball socket tips can be unscrewed on both the old and new struts, which allowed me to remove the cover from the old strut and slide it onto the new strut without modification. Hatch now works as good as new again.

PERFECT!!!! SUPER EASY INSTALL. Flat head screwdriver pops off the old struts and then you just snap these into place with no tools at all! Spent years fussing with that latch release thinking it was the release itself. Turns out it was just the struts all along! (Not feeling very smart at this point :-)) Saved a Bunch of money swapping these out myself.

I needed these on my 06 corvette. Great replacement and less than half the cost the dealer was asking. I think they might even be a little stronger than the OEM option.
