Really cool way to hold your cross stitch project
I bought several different sizes so I could build the size I needed. Works as stated. I love the product. Price is good, too. These cost twice as much at the big hobby/craft stores.

Best "framing" system I have ever used for X-stitching for both ease and control -- great for beginners ....
and on up the experience ladder. This is perfect for those projects that I need a little more working room. Always high quality and easy to use. I have been doing counted cross stitch for over 20 years and in my experience the Q-snap frames are best for working on both aida AND linen fabrics, leaving no "dents" or over stretching on the fabric. With this type of frame it is very important that you do all bead work last and some of it may need to be done "in hand" so as to avoid any possible damage to the beads. This is the only draw back I have ever heard of with the Q-snap frames although I have never experienced it myself even when I have used it to finish off my beading.

My new favorite cross stitch frame, good bye hoop stitching.
This brand of snap frames is the best I've found. The extender rod itself can be used with most if not all rods in the line. I plan to extend frames to rectangular shapes for rectangular projects. While some of the connections can be a tiny bit slippery, the clips hold them together and hold the fabric well for long periods of stitching. The clips can either be pulled off or slid off the end nearest the edge of the fabric. The frames do not warp, crease, or otherwise damage the Aida I use for my stitching. I definitely recommend this product and the rest of the line.

Excellent
Had numerous 11x11 Qsnap sets. Wanted to try the larger size snaps to see if I liked them and they would work in my Lowery stand. They are working great, and with the extensions I have worked with 11x14 and today I am working with 11x17, so far very satisfied with these extensions

Nice addition
working on a larger cross stitch piece and these extensions to my basic Q snap set is perfect! Easy to add on and the entire system is the best for needlework. Keep projects tight and secure, but easy to remove when needed. Excellent product!

GREAT Extension Kit
I really like it. If I had to nit pick. I'd say sometimes the connection with this and the other base tube parts can be a little loose. Make sure you use cloth or paper towel between this and your aida to protect your project as there is a slick substance on this. It can be hard to remove. Just get one side up and continue to pull it off, it will eventually pop right off. I do not regret this purchase. I would purchase other parts/sizes of this Q-Snap system.

Opened/used item repackaged in saran wrap
I ordered a new set and the one I received was repackaged in kitchen plastic wrap. These are more expensive than other sites; but I wanted the item faster than other carriers. I did not order a used item.

Great upgrade from using hoops.
Not a whole lot to add about this item - I agree that it's got it's problems with unclamping to move or remove a project, but it is MUCH better than a hoop as far as not marking my work. Definitely use a cloth between the work and the frame to protect it more (a bit of soft flannel or felt will do).
